Hang in there, Kaylee.
My wife and I have 11, two married so far, and 10 grandkids.
We aren’t the only conservatives in this area with a lot of children, either.
But are we quite certain this was NOT an aspect, or result, of the federally mandated school lunch program?
Teaching kids how to have sex - Good
Not noticing kids doing what they are taught - Bad
Got it
My 3 year old is proof of this. Between starfall and some leapfrog DVDs, she has taught herself (mostly, obviously we help as needed) to read and is now moving on to teaching herself basic math, the calendar, etc...
Phew, that's a lot!! I think I calculated that if we keep going at this rate until our fertility goes away, we'd have about 10 ourselves... LOL Not sure we'd be sane still though. How close together are yours?
Some are pretty close together, others are spread apart.
Don’t worry, sister.
The Lord knows what you can handle, and He won’t overburden you.
And you don’t have to have as many as we and our friends. Just as long as it’s more than just enough to replace you and your husband.
And don’t forget to homeschool them! Can’t have your babies corrupted by the government school collective, and they WILL corrupt them.

We will do everything in our power not to put our kids in public school. The plan is to homeschool through high school. I can’t wait - I love academics and teaching.

You do it!
Don’t EVER get discouraged. The temptation to give up may creep in from time to time, but just think about the article that started this thread, and that should be enough to harden your resolve to do exactly what you said.
If you’re considering college, rather than the trades, please consider a good, solid, Bible believing, Christian College.
Also, there is Hillsdale College, Patrick Henry College, and for graduate work, Liberty University.
