Good writers don't write stuff like this.

I don’t want to hear what they think great parents should do with their teenagers.

Good parents are rightly worried about their kids even thinking about sex.

Amy Schalet is an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies from Harvard University.

Ugh. Sociology.... Berkeley.... Could not ascertain if the good professor is married and / or has children or not. But, I'm thinking .... NOT! She just wants to tell us how to raise ours.

This is another example of how misguided religion (e.g., in this case, the religion of Planned Parenthood) blinds objective reason and fact.

First of all, I wonder if the author has her own children and, if so, puts her advice into practice?

Secondly, I wonder if she is aware of (or even cares about) the demonstrated effects of premarital sex, including:

- The emotional baggage that often comes with premarital sex, including guilt.
- The fact that premarital sex often leads to sexual dysfunctions in marriage.
- The fact that studies have shown that premarital sex is linked to an increased rate of cheating after marriage.

“In the Netherlands if a girl is in a relationship, she’s not a slut for wanting sex, for making decisions about sex,” she said.

Ask Natalie Holloway how that worked out with Joran Van der Sloot.

Dutch parents consider children ready for intercourse at age 16. “Teen pregnancy rates are about four times as high here. Birth rates about eight times as high.”
*************************************************
I’m Shocked! The pro abort writer is praising the Netherlands because their children choose abortion far more frequently.

PP must really despise human life at all stages. Their ideology and mission are social poison.

I feel sorry for those who fall for liberalism’s darkness and deploy it onto themselves and their children. This reminds me of the 60’s and 70’s. It is another wave of destruction. The ones who follow the social herd today are in for some serious sin and consequences. This is one time where normal people must not to go along to get along.

Good parents train up a child in the way he should go—and teach their children well that sex is for “marriage” and sex outside of “marriage “ is fornication, and adultery, prostitution , or sodomy-none of which glorify God.

If they are old enough to be having sex, they are old enough to get their own home.

Planned Infanticide is the nation’s leading provider of infanticide. $500 per dead baby.

This is just business.

That would be like the local fire department encouraging parents to have their children play with matches.

Having sex at home under the fondly approving aegis of their parents would deprive teenagers of one of the truly defining moments of becoming adults—the adrenalin rush of dangerous semi-public sex in the backseat of Daddy’s car.

My three daughters 15,13 and 8 know about sex age appropriate of course and know that its a GREAT THING to do in Marriage.

I guess I’m a bad parent ‘cause I won’t allow my 15 year old daughter to even single date until she is 17, and quite honestly she isn’t really interested in dating she finds education much more appealing right now... Whew...
