This is hilarious. The testers obviously don’t understand what they are testing...extreme bias...ie step in height complaint on a 4x4 3/4 ton truck and the ‘rough ride’ LOL...the turbo cummins diesel is the LEAST problematic of all the diesels...now if dodge could increase the quality build of the rest of the truck...ahhh.
Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel
In general, Consumer Reports finds heavy-duty three-quarter-ton pickups to be among the most problematic vehicles in production. Specifically, the diesel-powered version of the Ram 2500 is said to be at the back of the pack. It not only received worst ratings for poor reliability and excessive ownership costs, but it received among the lowest road-test scores among all 2012 models. While testers praised the trucks towing abilities and payload capacity (prime attributes among buyers with purposeful needs we should note) they criticized the Ram 2500 diesels ride and handling qualities, transmission performance, its noisy cabin and a too-high step-in height.
My buddy Bill bounced the bed of his diesel out in the desert LoL
It was one of those extended bed things.
The motor was bullet proof but it wasnt for off road.
Aside from the engine, a Dodge Ram is a piece of junk. People buy them because they are darn near half the price of a better built Ford. I’ve asked.
Now that's funny!
