Just curious on this one.
Me, I use it for email, web surfing, entertainment when I travel (movies, music, games) and have read upwards of 20 books on it. For what I use it for, I see no reason to upgrade - and if I had tons of dispoable cash, I’d probably just go with the iPad2. But for what I use it for, it’s perfectly adequate. I can stand to wait 5 seconds for a movie to launch, it really doesn’t bother me.
How about you? Any need to upgrade, and if so would you hop on the iPad2 or 3?

If you have an original iPad - the upgrade to the “3” is well worth it in terms of performance of things other than the screen... the screen is icing on the cake.
Still using the original 32 Gig iPad.
Here’s what I’m running on it in terms of business apps:
Keynote: for PowerPoints.
Keynote Remote: Controls PP’s using my iPhone on the iPad wirelessly.
Mitel’s Unified Communicator Advanced: Turns my iPad into a Presence tool, voice mail, controls my status, call forwarding, etc.
Bria Softphone: Turns the iPad into a SIP phone on my corporate PBX.
ClearSea: Turns the iPad into a video conferencing tool.
SonicWall: VPN tool.
Remoter VCN: Gets me to my desktop remotely over the Sonic Wall VPN.
DocsToGo: Good enough for managing MS Office apps until I can get to my desktop over the VPN.
There are some seriously powerful business apps out there if you look for them. While the front facing camera would be handy for the conferencing apps I can’t yet justify the expense to upgrade to the latest and greatest. Not yet, anyway.
I had the original iPad. I skipped 2 but did get a 3. My original was a 32GB WiFi only. This time around I opted for 64GB WiFi/4G.
Worth it!
The extra 512MB of RAM alone is worth going to the 3. That screen is pure gravy.
Looking at my old one, it really does feel like I need glasses, which I don’t need for reading.
Using my iPad 1 here, obtained 30 minutes after 3G went on sale. Improved speed and resolution would be nice, and some apps just don’t run on this (iPhoto, iMovie) but on the whole it’s still very satisfactory. Unlimited 3G rocks; not abusing it, just never have to worry about it. Need a new computer far more than an iPad upgrade. Will replace a 7 year old 1.7 GHz Pentium M 0.5GB Sony ultraportable with the next top end iMac when it shows up.
