Jaleel White, who won America's hearts back in the 90's as nerdy Steve Urkel, (and is very familiar to us here on FR) hit the floor with such a sparkling foxtrot that he scooped two coveted 9s, and an 8 for the first time ever for a first dance on Dancing With The Stars. Judge Bruno said he though he was watching the great Gregory Hines and that it couldn't get any better.
I was just floored by Erkel's performance. He completley won me over.

and I’m all for that. His performance just absolutely floored me.
Max is quite a hunk and a great dancer, but he’s so full of himself that he turns me off.
He had the audacity to refer to DWTS as ‘my show’, and later apologized. Sheesh.

Actually, I’m currently salivating over Tristan..but he has Gladys Knight who will last for a while but won’t win.

I think Erkel will win too. I have to get over wanting to vote for my hometown boy, Donald.
Unless Urkel does something drastic to go off track, he is sure to win. I've never seen anything like that for a first dance. His performance just floored me.
But, you know everyone agreed that these were the best performances ever for a first show. This should be a good season. I was actually losing interest after the last season, but with Erkel making such an astounding showing, I will follow the show and root for him.
Wait till they start letting/requiring them to do lifts. Max has a “load” to try and get off the ground...she’s a BIG girl..
