[This is a personally written summation piece from multiple news stories and sources.]
In a Friday news dump, the Obama (mis)administration announced that college student health plans covering 4 out of 5 college girls/women must give them free, taxpayer-funded birth control. Even students at most religious schools are included in this new mandate.
The reason Obama cannot require free birth control and abortions for all college girls is due only to what is described as a 'technical defect" in the law, not Obama's desire to adhere to the wishes of the students, parents, or the schools.
The administration justifies this vast overreaching of government power by, for the first time, treating students as "employees" for Obamacare purposes.
Many MSM outlets are trying to hide the basic facts, but the underlying truth is contained in this segment of a story that moved on the AP:
"The Obama administration’s controversial birth control health insurance coverage rule will not apply to a type of plan used by about 200,000 college and graduate students, officials said Friday."
"The administration’s authority to issue the rule stemmed from the 2010 health-care law. Officials said they have concluded that for technical legal reasons the law’s reach does not extend to “self-insured” student plans, meaning those for which a college or university collects premiums directly from students, then uses the pool to pay for their health care."
“At least 800,000 students are in a different class of plan: ones that their school purchases from insurance companies on their behalf. These plans will be subject to the full array of consumer provisions mandated by the health-care law, including the birth control rule — which requires plans for workers and students to cover preventive services including prescription birth control, emergency contraception and sterilizations, with no out-of-pocket charges."
Summation: Of one million college girls, this Obamacare insanity covers 800,000 students, but misses 200,000. That’s 4 out of 5 of our daughters subjected to this immoral mandate.
Bottom line, you and I, those (too few) Americans who pay taxes, will have to pay for free birth control, abortion and all other such "services' for our daughters and granddaughters. We can try to teach them to keep sex sacred for marriage, but then the federal government tells 4 out 5 coeds, screw away, we'll even pay for the consequences.
While we will be forced to pay for this moral travesty, of course, the welfare queens, the AFDC parents, ACORNistas, food stamp “clients” and the other members of the Vast Unwashed pay nothing, because they pay no federal taxes.
When will this insanity stop!
The mandate should be that any women receiving free contraception must, in turn, provide free sex to the most underprivileged men.
Great idea, but then the only men getting free nookie would be those “underprividged” welfare men, etc.

It really IS too bad ann dunham didn’t make the decision to abort. Not only did she “punish” herself wqith the Lyin’ brat, she punished the rest of the country as well.
It’s a slap in the face to the women in our colleges when he says 80% of them need contraception or abortions. He has little, if any respect for our kids.
Meanwhile, it is my opinion, Zero’s DeathCare will deny care to those over 60 who fail to meet their designated criteria by religion, political affiliation etc.. My opinion is that we will see an American Holocaust as a result.. Never Again is here and, IMO, Obama and his ilk in the Congress designed it that way. They will, of course, exempt themselves along with their Liberal accomplices. History is indeed repeating itself.

With all the time spent on Gays ,Contraception and Abortion ,would this be a SNEAKY way for Liberals to push population control and know one will even notice
I would like to know what has happened to reimbursement for abortions over the past several years. Reimbursement has decreased markedly for lots of physicians in other areas of medicine (sometimes 50% or more for specific procedures and tests). I wonder if abortion docs have been protected from these decreases. I’m not saying this is true. I am just curious.

“Free” ontraceptive for sharks may be next. There is no telling what insanity will be pushed on the people.
What about the men who are under the insured plan...aren't they getting a taxable benefit by not having to purchase contraceptives or pay for abortions? And what about the other, 20% guys who still have to pay? Will there be contraceptive stamps like food stamps for them?
Finally, if sexual relations come under Obamacare, what about food? Seems like not only having free sex but eating the right food is equally necessary to one's health and well being. The First Lady tells us so everyday...kids with improper diets, too much junk food, not enough lobster and caviar to go around. Medical issues, for sure.
Next up: Seniors, their Depends and Viagra? /sarc.
When will Obama’s unions demand 2 sex breaks per 8 hour shift?
I believe there are more than a million women in college and take it this applies to only that minority of students not otherwise covered, until age 26, on their parents’ plans?
Oh, and wouldn’t this coverage be paid for not by taxpayers but by all students paying for coverage in that particular plan?
The other 20% are too ugly to need it!
