reminded me that I wanted to report to you all that the Secret Service spied on a post I set up to report on Obama using the athletic fields of our university here on the eastside of Seattle.
On Feb. 17 Obama made one of his frequent fundraising visits, this time to Washington State to shake down a couple billionaires who live near by. He spoke at Boeing in the morning, then flew to Kirkland.
The trip was a means to raise money for his re-election and was totally funded by taxpayers. SEVEN choppers and what seemed like a about 100 troops.
A couple weeks before the Secret Service contacted our small university, where I work, and asked if we would be willing to let the President use our fields to land seven choppers, including Marine One and Two.
The University agreed. So the day of classes on Friday, Feb. 17 was hopeless. The campus was like an armed military base as soon as the Black Hawks landed. It was so exciting, students didn't want to go to classes. It was like a free day.
Anyway I posted a thread inviting area Freepers to protest. We didn't know the details of exactly when he would arrive, so I kept an update for anyone interested.
Then at post number 15 comments by a user named "NU Grad" appeared. Hmmm. I didn't remember that user name before. He sounded like he was aware of the events and so I figured, OK, a former student in the area is a Freeper and got pinged for Washington State.
But, no. This guy was a Secret Service Troll pretending to be associated with Northwest University. He signed up on Feb. 17. I didn't think of checking when he became a member until later when I figured it out.
Before I realized he was a Government Troll, I Freeper mailed "NU Grad" and told him my name and asked him when he graduated just in case he was a former student who I knew personally. (Stupid me).
No response.
I am sure it was espionage because the admin was told that the Secret Service wanted to monitor our email system.
It would be logical that they would also do some kind of Internet key word monitoring as well.
They had a balcony on a building near the fields packed with some kind of electrical equipment. Guess to dampen road side bombs or something.
We saw snipers and plain clothed agents in the bushes or walking around looking like "students" with back packs, but they were too old to pull it off. Must have been about 8 snipers on the roofs and crouching around corners of buildings.
I mean, I am glad that these guys are doing their job to protect the President. It is impressive that they are so thorough.
But, it is kind of creepy that they pretended to be one of us just to monitor what we were saying.
(NOTE: If I go missing and end up in a secret prison somewhere you know what happened.)

Right. I am guessing the SS posed as a Freeper to get more information, like “maybe this poster is stupid enough to send me an email revealing his name”— which I did.
It could have been to see if he could gain trust to get more information from me. Blending into the group you are gathering intelligence on is a common tactic I think.
Seriously, the wording of the two posts by “NU Grad are strange. I know the culture of my school and we don’t talk like that. So, the wording as suspicious. Then he became a member that same day, never posted again and didn’t reply to both mail and a post directly asking who he is.
Add to this that our campus was crawling with Secret Service, snipers, about 100 soldiers and that the place had been under surveillance for a couple weeks and was being watched very intensely all that day.
Also we we told that the SS need access to monitor our email system on campus. They were interested what anyone was saying about the Prez online.
It is possible that “NU Grad” wasn’t a SS, but I am about 95 percent sure that he was. A real NU Grad wouldn’t say stuff like that, defending the university as if he were a PR guy. Also, it is such a small school that a graduate who shares the same views on politics would certain reply to my message. Absolutely sure about that.
Then the FR monitors here must have agreed, since they have pulled the original thread for being “wired”.
It means that spies are monitoring what we are saying to see if we are in some way a threat to Glorious Leader, the One Being of Light Savior of the Nation and Hope for a Green Planet Showing us the Way as we Travel the Road together toward Freedom and Equality.

You know, I am ignorant on aircraft. I just always assumed that the President flies in Marine One when in a helicopter.
You say that the two identical choppers were something else.
Please take a look at the photo at the top of the page. What is that craft?
This photo was from the practice landing day that occurred two days before the landing. I know because the motorcade is not lined up in the photo. But, I am sure it was the same (one of two) chopper the Prez was in.
What you say here is read by a LOT of people. Never forget it.

Yeah, but they already know that. These SS agents are the best of the best.
Our Secret Service has a thankless job. They MUST put all of their personal opinions aside, serve and protect.
It is incumbent upon us, the voters, to send them a President that they can be proud to protect. Not, as now, some rag-tag, former foreign student with forged Federal documents.

I was referring to the photo at the top of the page. I misunderstood your post. I was thinking you were saying that it was Marine One with the Pres in it. Sorry for my confusion. If that is a photo of a practice run then I apologize. IF that help was used to carry the Pres then it was Marine One. If you look at Marine One that is based in DC, it is a larger craft with a different paint. On the road thing sometimes change

That is a pretty good blog & I would use it as a reference tool for O-bots but it’s not enabled for mobile users.

I was at a hotel once where GHWB was speaking.
A friend and I tried to leave to go out to eat, but the SS had the side entrance of the hotel on lockdown until the President had left.
Saw all sorts of decoys as he left the area, including SS agents dressed up as waiters.

I am pretty sure that it was the same chopper that come on Friday that landed for the practice two days before. I was at the same location and had the same view as the photo.
Since your post, I am wondering if Marine One stays in DC and that each AFB near where the presidents travels has some other secure helicopter for transport.
It doesn’t look big enough, so I think that you are right. It wasn’t M1.
In terms of security, the campus was an armed based it seemed like. See other posts on the original thread. The security was amazing.

Well, you know we are at war. There are a bunch of crazy Islamists who would love to wipe out our head of state (even if he is doing his own best to bring the country down, probably unaware).
When we are at war, there could be sleeper cells trying to attack.
So, I can understand why the SS is being watchful.
Our guys are doing a magnificent job protecting the president. The snipers hiding in the bushes were hilarious. These guys were everywhere.

Interesting what you tell. If I read correctly your saying info on all persons posting on FR are open to the Feds, it is only to FR readers that personal information is secured. Inquiring minds need to know. In my case I don’t really give a darn because I think I have served this Nation honorably and long enough to make a public noise if circumstances warrant such.
Well I suppose that just in case Fr is being read my more people than we realize, i should say up front that i wish Obama to be safe and protected and be able to finish the rest of his term without any danger or attacks on him and I recognize that any assaults on him, no matter how strongly we may object to his domestic or foreign policies, is an assault on the united States of America regardless of who does it and why. I want him to peacefully finish his term and then enjoy the rest of his life as a well known public figure just like Bill Clinton has done.

I am aware there are probably other lists that we dont know about, but this suggests there are actually other internet forums that the feds consider significantly more important for whatever reason. And the list as you can see is extensive and includes forums from all sides of the political spectrum. If they have a profile on FR posters, they probably have a profile on anyone who posts on a site dedicated to political, social and/or economic issues. Ergo, they have profiles on possibly over 100 million people at this point. So for now I presume we should make sure to keep everything civil and nonthreatening and respectful. It is always possible it may change, if at some later time Americans consciously decide to become a dictatorship-since that would happen only if we uniformly consented to it.
Thanks emax. I like to think that I always keep things civil. I suspect the FR is monitored to some degree by the US Guvmint. Oh, well. Maybe the montiors will learn something.
