I once tried to book a United flight from LAX for a Sheltie bitch, to have her bred back east.

Gal on the phone asked why we were shipping her, then went ballistic, ranting about "how'd YOU like to be ripped from your family; caged, transported, restrained, and then repeatedly RAPED!?! I WON'T allow it!" I replied that if I were a bitch in season, NOTHING would please me more. She then hung up on me.

This was the Old Days of landlines and no way to get her ID to report her; to get her supervisor, she would have had to transfer the call.

We booked on a later, after her shift ended, but still reported the incident.

I always tried to avoid United after that, but for that particular destination had to use them.
