The Donald had his own investigators out there probing around .... and suddenly Obummer comes up with ‘a’ birth certificate. I think Trump hit ‘close to home’ & knows there is more out there, maybe even knows what it is, but he still has to do business in the U.S. .... first & foremost he is a businessman. The media is being threatened and I would suspect Donald has been as well i.e. stop digging. Now that Arpaio has weighed in with factual evidence, Trump can jump on that bandwagon without turning over stones himself. I get the feeling Trump really does not like Obama & considering the business-toxic environment & hostility to business of the administration as a whole, I think that is his motivation in this matter. Just my little theory these days as I watch this thing unfold. The slime is starting to ooze out of the cracks ...

Law enforcement are the right people to investigate this. What Trump gave was visibility and permission for others to say it’s reasonable to care whether Obama has committed fraud. Hannity came out in support of Trump’s interest in the subject. He dropped it when his handlers told him it “wasn’t in the news cycle” (only because the media wouldn’t report anything on it...). Hannity has said that he would vet Obama this time even if it costs him his job. Based on how Media Matters was monitoring Hannity’s every move on eligibiliyt, I suspect that Hannity might have been the person who gave Doug Hagman a signed statement about the threats that were made. We’ll see what happens, but Trump could help bolster somebody like Hannity.
