The other animals are no big deal, but leopards are rare. Shooting one for kicks is pretty pathetic. I expect these two idiots will have their own reality show soon, sponsored by whatever hair gel they’ve packed onto their heads.

Leopards are not rare, this is another anti-hunting myth. Many countries have too many Leopards and there are well regulated quotas under CITES for hunting Leopards in those particular coutries.
Leopards are not rare in Africa. In many areas they are pests. They are very adaptable to civilization and are not endangered. They need to be hunted to keep the numbers down.
The real threat to leopards is that they will be put on the endangered list, with the usual results that the local poachers will hunt them remorsely, as they will no longer have local economic value.

Be willing to bet that the Brothers Trump paid for a Leopard tag, meaning that the local authorities sold them the right to take one. I don’t think that it’s likely that they just went out into the bush and shot one. These hunts have professional guides.
