Two sons of US property mogul Donald Trump have come under fire after pictures emerged of them posing with the corpses of African animals during a hunting trip.
Donald Junior and Eric Trump spent a week in the Zimbabwean bush in August 2010, and are pictured standing next to trophy kills of a Cape buffalo, a waterbuck, a leopard, a civet cat, a crocodile and a kudu.

How did you escape DU? What these mes did is legal and perfectly acceptable. They killed animals. Animals whose meat was eaten and enjoyed by PEOPLE. Get a grip.
Looking more like Dumb and Dumber in this pic - note sure if the blond between them is a trophy or not -
My grandfather would have disagreed with you. He grew up on a farm and he said he would rather hunt than take an animal who trusted him to slaughter. The wild animal had a chance of evading him, while the barnyard animal came to call.
Did you not know that you just wrote a great double pun? LOL
>> Trumps sons may be jerks, but I never realized there were so many PeTA members here at FR.
To my memory, this is the first time it ever came onto my radar that Trump even HAS sons. (I don’t watch much teevee though.) I have no opinion whether they’re jerks or not.
But it’s not like they tortured the animals and are dancing on their skulls or anything. They went on a safari, they shot some exotic animals, they had their picture taken with their kills. Big deal.
It’s spring and the calves are out and boy are they cute! I’d say some of ‘em give that leopard a run for the money in the cuteness department. Pretty soon though, they’ll get punched in the head with a captive bolt gun and get turned into steaks and these hyperventilating Freepetas will have them in a hamburger. And the world goes round.
Leopards aren’t that rare in many areas.............
Uhh, that’s Ivanka Trump, his daughter.
Fantastic animals, good shooting, but I hope they do belong to a hunter/conservation group instead of just play at being rich bwana hunters.
Oh ....I’m selfish and arrogant for thinking it’s wrong to kill a rare animal. Yeah, right.
I’ve been there...spotting a leopard was the most difficult thing of all - we were lucky to see one solitary leopard.
My late FIL was Project Engineer for an African mining company’s construction of an ore conveying system. When it was about 90% finished, a herd of rampaging elephants totally destroyed it in one night. What wasn’t destroyed had to be ripped out & rebuilt.
They will just as readily stomp a village, as they will its crops.
Another of their delightful habits is pushing over fruit trees to eat the fruit...easier than just using their trunks to pick whats in reach.
These are AFRICAN elephants; not the much more domesticatable (but no less dangerous in the wild) Indian elephants.
Good to know........
Well now that we’re into name calling - you’re a jerk.
They're the third generation. Despite his attempted myth-building, the Donald is no more "self-made" than these two.
The empire he inherited from his father included 30,000 homes and apartments in New York.
I don't know a thing about these guys beyond that picture, but that picture screams "douchebags!" at me. The daughter Ivanka seems oddly well-grounded. I've heard good things about her.
I probably should have made a distinction between hunting for food and “sport”. The “sport” anology is crap. It isn’t sport to hunt and kill an animal that doesn’t have a chance against a higher intelligent and armed foe. I have no problem with hunting for food as that is the nature of all mammals.
"the buck stops with those two". (buck = impala, gnu, antelope etc)
WTF???
Nevermind. pgkdan said all that was needed to be said. Several times......
Educate yourself before you get all pms’ed.
