Yes, it is apparently up to the Secret Service to make the determination. AND if anyone receives SS protection, like David Axelrod for example, they can arrest you for a FELONY if you protest them. Not clear if you have to be warned first.

The Bill allows a new power to the Pres. to determine who should get Secret Service protection. He can apparently now give it to anyone he wants at any time.
I would say that the odds of an election actually being held this November have fallen considerably.
Easy....Tea Party and Town Hall Meetings. Right now it is for the benefit of anyone needing SS protection. It will reach those in the House and Senate.
ANYONE voting for this needs to be ousted on this issue alone.
