OK ... some of you are really ticked at me
Neal Nuze ^ | 03/08/2012 | Neal Boortz

Sorry .. mea culpa. Somehow I missed the memo detailing how my primary function on the radio is to say things that you will all agree with so that nobody will get mad at me. Now, from the looks of the email and Twitter, some of you don’t like me very much at all. Most of you I don’t know personally … so I’ll survive. Some of the folks that are, shall we say, royally pissed, are friends. Now that hurts. But I’ve always been honest with both my friends and my listeners on how I feel about the issues .. and that doesn’t stop during the Year of Talking Dangerously.

OK … so why are folks mad? Because yesterday on the show I revealed that I voted for Mitt Romney in the Florida Primary, and that if I were eligible to vote in Georgia I would have voted for him yesterday as well. Voting in two states wouldn’t have been nice … so I didn’t.

Not that my opinions here are worth any more but yours, but here’s where I stand on this all-important contest as of right now.

It would need an industrial vise on most of our noses to vote for Romney, but if that is what it took to push Obama out of the White Hut... well, let’s say that it’s a good time to buy stock in industrial vises.

They all have to justify it to themselves, in various ways, and some care more about doing this than others.

But I believe what most of them think to themselves is the same thing Nimrod thought, or King Saul, or the serpent in the Garden.

Boortz ridicules Christians and is a rabid pro-abortionist.
Doesn’t surprise me that he voted for Romney.

The Talkmaster has had a frontal lobotomy.
********************************************
The talkmaster just voted for Mittens because he’s the only pro-abort RINO running and Boortz is fanatically pro-abort.

It’s no wonder Romney is so far ahead. I always thought Boortz was a Conservative. My, how that title is thrown around these days.

The problem, IMO, is that to "conserve" means, in essence, to hold things the same; considering that, someone who wants to keep government bloated and seriously unaccountable (that is, keeping things the same), wants to conserve and therefore is a conservative. If you allow that reasoning, then voting for Romney is the conservative thing to do because [IMO] there is no discernable difference between him and Obama.

Why? Why are all of them pushing Romney when he is not representative of conservatism?

My opinion: Because changing the "D" to an "R" will cause people to think "we did our part" and 'go back to sleep' without realizing that there is no real difference between Romney and Obama.

I posted yesterday that I was shocked to hear Jay Seckulow, from American Center for Law and Justice (the anti-ACLU) supporting Mitt. I couldn’t believe it. In the ad, he said that Mitt would nominate conservative justices to the USSC and even mentioned Bork.

I have no idea why any conservative would back Mitt. He’s poison to the conservative cause.

Conservatives got to where they are by standing up against liberalism.

Over time, they have latched onto the GOP and don't take a critical look at the GOP and push the part towards a conservative agenda and view. So they end being hypocrites, “My liberal Republican (Mittens) is better than your liberal Democrat (Obama).” They will spin and cover for their GOP liberal in elected power no matter what.

I am very disappointed!!! I would NEVER have dreamed that Neal would vote for Romney!!! I WILL NEVER vote for Romney looks like WE have more principals than they do and that is all that matters!!! Romney will NEVER win because WE all despise him!!! GOP-E is in for a rude awakening they truly believe we will all fall in line!!! NOT !!!

calm down...and it's principles not principals Remember that Principals are our "pals" as in school

Boortz is on WSB radio, which is owned by Cox Communications, not Clear Channel.

BECAUSE CONSERVATIVES ARE NOT THE MAJORITY IN AMERICA. This is not 1980. People who pay attention to poitics, not just to other conservatives, know this. It is what it is.

I would like to believe that, but I know President Gerald Ford nominated John Paul Stevens and President George H. W. Bush nominated David Souter, both of which were disasterous appointments. Is it logical to expect more Conservative nominations from Massachusetts liberal Romney?

Conservatives believe in things. That makes them by default less cool.

The ultimate in cool, think Johnny Depp, Snoop Dog, James Dean, etc, is NOT CARING. Cool = dispassionate.

People who believe in values are turds in the punchbowl to cool people who just don’t care. Romney doesn’t care too much. He won’t spoil the party.

I think what it is, is that both “sides” left and right, are two halves of a club.

There’s a group of people, who control our government. Half call themselves democrats, half call themselves Republicans.

Neither side cares one bit about voters.

In fact their entire lives are built around keeping voters from messing up their gig.

Democrats have the (far) easier job. Their voters respond eagerly to conditioning. They’ve very easy to manipulate. Like children. Me me me.

Conservatives, not so much. Conservatives and Constitutional libertarians have brains, which makes it harder to control us. Which is what the establishment wants to do. It wants us to comply.

They believe Romney won’t mess things up for them.

I happen to believe they’re wrong.

Romney will be the one, who costs them their own voters.

That’s why you see Rove coming unglued.

He knows.
