Newt.org website--what's up with it?

Posted on 03/07/2012 5:37:33 AM PST by mtrott

I just went to the site, and all I get is a donation page. There is no link to the rest of the site. Maybe they are just updating it. Can anybody find the rest of the site?

I see the same thing. My guess is that he’s going to announce a campaign suspension sometime soon.

Much to my disgust, Mittens is running away with this thing. Praying for a brokered convention at this point.

Winning by 1% in Ohio? Watch Karl Rove much?

I also noticed that, despite having said repeatedly over the last week that he was going to challenge Santo and Mittens to a debate in AL/MS, he did not throw down that gauntlet last night.

I dunno. Santorum keeps making Romney split the delegates.

I still don’t get why Rombama won in Alaska

Word from the Newt 2012 campaign this morning is that the website “will be back up very soon.”

Hope so. I really wanted to work for Newt here in TX, but due to the feds meddling with our elected legislature’s right to lay out districts, our primary is not until May 29.

Newt 2012 campaign says site is temporarily down for maintenance (had to fix something). Will be back up soon.

Hmm...I wonder if something is up with Sarah Palin? Especially since she stated she voted for Newt in AK. Perhaps she is on a plane to Alabama, where Newt is today. Newt has to do something bold at the point, and he must win MS and AL.

Could it be possible? Sarah is the ONLY one who could overcome the Dobson/evangelical support that Santorum enjoys.

Listening to Laura Ingraham—which is a huge mistake because she is so very depressing; continuously encouraging Newt to drop out and “work with” Santorum because there is no way Newt can win at this point. I was screaming at my radio!

I don’t listen to Ingraham, but she and I are in complete agreement on that point.

I do find myself suddenly thinking that a Santorum/Gingrich ticket might not be bad at all...it would have broad geographic appeal, and I think Gingrich would be a fine debate opponent for Biden. If Gingrich could suppress his ego long enough to accept a VP slot, a Santorum/Gingrich ticket could (IMO) handily wipe Romney off the map.

Whether it would be the best combo against 0 is questionable, but my personal opinion is that beating 0 in November won’t be terribly difficult. This summer is going to be a tough one for a lot of Americans.

Wasn’t talking about a particular race, you dolt. Look at the delegate count. It’s becoming statistically impossible to beat Romney!

This is a point worth repeating. When he rumbled out of Florida a winner, I was scratching my head wondering how. With absolutely abysmal voting numbers here, Mittens managed to pull way ahead of Newt.

/tinFoilHatOn

Could it be possible that the same puppetmasters behind Obama are deliberately rigging Republican primary elections to favor Romney so that they can destroy him on every level once he's the nominee?

/tinFoilHatOff

I still stand by my thought that we won't make it to elections in November, and if we do, they'll be so contestable, detestable, and full of fraud that the American people will, in general, become distrustful of the political process in our country anyway.

Four more years of Obama, even if we hold the House and Senate, is a death sentence for America. No appeals. No long stint in purgatory. It means a march to the gallows, a tight noose, and a drastic and precipitous drop.
