LOL! I missed that one. Do you know which episode it was, or what it was about? My husband would love to see that.

The episode was called "The City on the Edge of Forever." Dr. McCoy goes through some kind of time portal, landing in late 1930s Earth. He's temporarily insane and does something to alter history which would have resulted in Germany winning World War II. Kirk and Spock follow him there in order to undo the damage done by McCoy. When they show up in Mayberry, poor Otis nearly has a heart attack when he sees Spock. (Okay, I made up that last part!)
