They Come to America (Spring 2012). The documentary takes a non-partisan look at the human and financial cost of illegal immigration and the risks of a lawless and wide open US / Mexico border. The film focuses on the human and financial costs of illegal immigration. We filmed over the span of 14-months (Oct 2010 - Nov 2011) and journeyed through Arizona, California, Illinois, Florida, DC, New York and Colorado. The debates, events, people, and places we captured went beyond my expectations. We never turned the camera off, and we never allowed our opinions to sway the film. Basically, when it comes to the topic of illegal immigration, this is a first-of-its-kind film.

The Feds do not want us to see this doc.
For any politician wanting to be serious about getting our fiscal house in order this is the issue. There is no other that comes before this one.
Illegals are getting money from our government through almost any benefit program you can name. They use our hospitals because they cannot be turned away. If i generate a bill and try and ski out on it i face legal problems. They don’t. These people are here illegally. They fill our prisons at a cost to us. The people the3y commit crimes against also pay a price. I truly don’t ever want to hear that most crimes are against other illegals. We have read far too many stories about drunk illegal drivers killing or maiming our citizens.
I refuse to listen to one more idiot politician tell me how they pay into the system or keep inflation down because they work cheap. What are they saying? Are they encouraging companies to hire people working off the books? Are they encouraging companies to give jobs to people other than citizens? The argument holds no water. None.
We educate their children at a cost of $15000 to $20000 a year depend on the state and likely more in some.Do our politicians really expect us to believe they are putting back anywhere near that in taxes especially when they may have 3 or 4 children in school at once?
This nation has given much to the world. We have spent our precious blood on foreign soil. We have freely shared the fruits of our labor with nations that are not so well off. Now times are tough. Fake unemployment numbers the calculation of which are designed to lower the rate so as to keep the heat off politicians who have done an awful job managing our economy fool us no longer. Dealing with the big entitlement programs will have to occur one day. They are the toughest nuts to crack as they are so deeply ingrained in our social fabric.
Getting rid of illegals, purging them from all the programs they use that simply take from us is the first and easiest issue to tackle. Until our politicians again regardless of party, can deal with this most obvious drain on our nations fiscal resources they can never engage the more difficult ones.
This is the line in the sand for me in this election. There is no other that is so obvious to deal with from an economic perspective. Until this is dealt with then nothing said about anything else can be taken seriously.
I tried to reserve a copy of the DVD, but the site wasn’t accepting my submission. I’ll try again later.
