Hmmm. I think that the poorest of Americans are infinitely better off than the rest of the world's poor. And the rich are, well pretty well off no matter where they live. So really, it is the poor that should be REALLY grateful that they have the privilege of being an American - so I think that they should be taxed more.
Hmmmm. And could even add an even higher tax onto poor folks that have immigrated here from other countries.
Hmmm. And folks descended from slaves. If their relatives had ended up in S. America or elsewhere they no doubt would not have survived long enough to have descendants. They should REALLY be grateful for the privilege to being an American and pay more in taxes.

I long for the days when more revenues came from economic growth.
And the ‘Privilege of Being an American’ is why about half of the country pays NO taxes, and has a subset that gets back something like 7 billion in refunds. Some animals are more privileged than others.
One half of American taxpayers pay no Federal income taxes. Aren’t they “privileged”?
The privilege of being an American is the highest taxes in the world.
So we finally have the full picture of Obama’s world view.
We know it is a privilege to be an American.
But closer to Obama’s liberation theology, he believes Americans have an unfair advantage not enjoyed by the rest of the world and we must be punished for it. He believes the world playing field must be leveled. In his mind, there are two ways to bring this about. Deem the rest of the world to be equal to American citizens with an equal say in our govt. as he is bringing about with his immigration policy. Or make Americans pay for their advantage.
To make sure they are burdened for centuries, triple the debt so that it will take generations for Americans to pay it back. Why should the rest of the world have to suffer? Americans must be made to pay. Steal money through the Fed and give it to the world banks and Soros. Americans will pay for it. Limits need to be placed on American resources. We can’t be allowed to use our own oil resources. Limits need to be placed on our freedoms. The Constitution can no longer be followed. Only democrats in govt. shall rule. Limits need to be placed on American’s possessions. Any extra money shall go to pay essentials and taxes nothing else. Any advantages Americans create by their own hard work need to be taken and given to the rest of the world. It is only fair since it is obvious that America with all it’s advantages needs to share with the world, by force as it seems necessary.
After all, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need. The United States has the ability. The rest of the world has the greed, I mean need.
Treasury Secretary Tax Cheat Timmy Geithner is just laying out the beginnings of what is to come. First the “rich” pay taxes for the privilege of being American, but in the end, we will all be paying. Except for the democrats, they never pay.
