Orange tabbies tend to be the most laid back of creatures. Pudding is a perfect name for one. I am sure this Pudding will be well taken care of for the remainder of his life.

Good kitty pudding!
A nice aside to the story;
"Pudding had been living at the shelter for about a month before Jung took him home. He arrived there in early January with another cat named Wimsy after their owner died. Jung adopted Wimsy, too, because she didnt want to separate them."

Looks like he may have a bit of Maine Coon in him, which would explain both the size and the laid-back attitude. We have two purebred Maine Coon Cats and they really are extremely chilled-out cats in general.

Maine Coon’s may be the best cats of all time. I’ve had two and when I get settled I’ll bave another BIG Maine Coon! (Keeps the dogs out of the yard)

I thought that a pet has to at least dial 911 before the story makes the news.

Our cat Paws saved me on numerous occasions from attacks by deadly Dorito chips. The thing about cats is, they eat whatever they defeat. That’s why I make sure I never lose a fight with a cat. I might have to fire off a few rounds to scare the cat off, but there’s no way I’m going to become a moist and meaty taste treat for some four-legged interloper.

My kitty Rudy used to do this for me.We lost him in Mar of 2010.He would know long before I did that I was having a reaction and would start meowing and pacing and just generally making a pest of himself until I test myself and he saw that I was doing something about it.He would also help bring me wake if I was asleep when it was happening.Very remarkable animal and I miss him dearly.Wish I could find another kitty with the same talent.
