I am not mocking anything.
I am SAYING we are on a fiscal dive, and that the Church has managed to deal with moral issues for thousands of years.

What we need at this very moment is someone that can turn things around fiscally

I don’t know what you don’t understand about that.

Why do you keep only mentioning the Catholic church rather than Evangelicals and Protestants?

Why do you keep refusing to acknowledge that this is insulting and mocking to conservatives and Christians “”Obama shifted the conversation with this ridiculous Contraception thing as well as the gay marriage thing, and Santorum took the bait. That shifted focus from the economy, and lent legitimacy to social matters as being important to the race.””?

Why do you keep pretending that you are not a social liberal?

I don’t recall many people using “the church” to describe the Protestant and Evangelical base of the conservative movement and the GOP.

At least you do not deny being socially liberal.

I just think we need to prioritize.

I don't care what you think.

If you don't think religious liberty is of the utmost importance, you're no conservative.

The religious liberties of all Americans are under assault by the Obama administration. Every conservative in this country should be shouting it from the rooftops, because conservatives know that if there is no religious liberty, tyranny wins and the country ceases to be.

If conservatives can define this argument they can win it and defeat this slimebag administration and its accomplices in the media.

Capiche?

I think it’s a confluence of four factors.

1. As I’ve said from the start, Obama has a very low bar to hurdle, because his only task was to give the appearance of economic growth. With the help of his propaganda ministers, along with a healthy dose of statistical manipulation, the unemployment rate has been made to appear lower for several consecutive months. With an American populace not given to much in the way of critical thinking skills (majorities STILL blame Bush!!), this has benefited Obama the most.

2. Regardless of the previous drop in job approval ratings, other polls have shown people still like Obama personally, and still want him to succeed. One FoxNews poll in late December or early January showed respondents felt Obama’s ideas were “good” ones, but he was being stymied by Congress. Make no mistake, many millions of Americans literally fell in love with Obama in 2008 and aren’t ready to break that emotional bond. Job performance disapproval amounted to nothing more than a lovers’ spat. Most of Obama’s backers aren’t going anywhere, and his continued arrogance on virtually every policy matter is evidence he knows it.

3. There are ever-growing numbers of people in this country who are content to live off government largesse as much as they can get away with. Long gone is the “rugged individualism” that characterized the American spirit. In New America, people are willing to accept less of themselves so long as they grab handouts in the process.

4. The demographics in this country are shifting rapidly. The country’s white population is shrinking vs. high-growth groups, such as hispanics. Add to that a shockingly lax attitude toward immigration control and what the future holds is a 50-state version of California.

Nobody I know is happy with obama.

Are the people you know reflective of the public at large?
