You have discovered the philosopher’s stone of the last 150 years of American politics.

In my experience, though, 99.99% of conservatives would disagree.

Dear Ann; got some good news for you and some bad news for you. The good news is that you’re going to be on Mitt’s planet when he becomes god. The bad news is that you’re going to be a roll of toilet paper.

Romney hasn’t flipped the first time yet. Saying something isn’t doing something. He is still a lib, still a RINO, and still the arch-nemesis of conservatives. Reagan spent decades FIGHTING for conservatism. Romney has spent a few cycles fighting to convince conservatives that he doesn’t need to prove himself. Sorry, we do have other options.

Ann is appearing more desperate all the time. I’d have never believed this of her 4-5 years ago. Never. It is embarrassing to watch this.

It’s been said on FR before. I’ll say it here again.

There is a possibility that Ann Coulter is log cabin. It would certainly explain her infatuation with Chris Christie and Mitt Romney.

Yes but these are your choices:
Manager Mitt
Saint Rick
Think tank Newt
Crazy Uncle Ron
With this lineup I am afraid too many folks are going to say None of the Above come November.

How about a draft of “Been there, done that” Sarah?
Cleaned up her own party.
Got major concessions from the oil companies, which
Provided extra income for Alaska citizens.
Was the only reason the 2008 election was that close.

I think a lot of folks are sick of Sarah’s voice. Not her message but the sound of her voice. Consequently many won’t listen to her.

Manager Mitt

This is politics and government, that means Romney is trying to go from Governor to President, as Governor, Romney was a total failure, and left with 34% approval, left his party shattered and reduced, and the democrats have owned his seat ever since.

I would use the label 'Failed Governor' for him.

"portrayal of Bain Capital's Romney as "Chainsaw Mitt"

Excerpts from http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204331304577140850713493694.html

"The Wall Street Journal, aiming for a comprehensive assessment, examined 77 businesses Bain invested in while Mr. Romney led the firm from its 1984 start until early 1999, to see how they fared during Bain's involvement and shortly afterward.

Among the findings: 22% either filed for bankruptcy reorganization or closed their doors by the end of the eighth year after Bain first invested, sometimes with substantial job losses. An additional 8% ran into so much trouble that all of the money Bain invested was lost.

Another finding was that Bain produced stellar returns for its investors—yet the bulk of these came from just a small number of its investments. Ten deals produced more than 70% of the dollar gains.

Some of those companies, too, later ran into trouble. Of the 10 businesses on which Bain investors scored their biggest gains, four later landed in bankruptcy court."

In other words 40% of the companies bought and sold by Bain Capital were broken in in the process.

What I want to know is: WHERE are the 100,000 jobs Romney claimed to have "created"???

Interesting fact: Utah, which promotes it's mormon citizens as comprising 70-75% of the state's population, leads the nation per capita in chapter 11 bankruptcies.

Utah also leads the nation in per capita murder rates, rapes, child abuse, and antidepressant use.

Ann Romney is a Mormon wife, converted from Christianity to Mormonism personally by the sitting Governor of her state, in preparation for his Mormon son. Bishop Mitt Romney will decide if she goes to his heaven or not, once he becomes God of a planet.

We know that Ann was pro-abortion, active with Planned Parenthood, and we have to assume she still is pro-abortion, she will be whatever her future God tells her to be, at least if she wants to make it into the Mormon heaven.

I wonder how many feel the same way about Ron Paul?

I don’t know if those data are related to Utah being “mormon” country.

To tell you the truth, I don’t know much about Mormonism, nor other such sects and I don’t even want to waste my time upon them. My problem with Romney is not his religion, but with the fact that he is as fake as a 3 dollar bill. I cannot simply believe anything he says.

Who needs to judge Romney’s past? For me you simply cannot be conservative and be for a minimum wage, let alone indexing it.

One of Medved's callers brought that up and, get this: Coulter excused Romney's "indexing" plan by saying that "with deflation, the minimum wage might actually go DOWN!" I didn't know whether to cry or throw up.

Should we have trusted Ronald Reagan when he changed from many years as a democrat and a union official to conservative sounding republican?

You mean Captain Reagan who by the second half of the 1940s was already starting to be seen as a communist fighting conservative, testifying to Congress and naming names, working with the FBI, having to carry a gun for self defense from the left, Reagan?

The Reagan who by 1952 was campaigning for Republicans like Eisenhower, who he campaigned for again in 1956, and then campaigned for Nixon against JFK in 1960, already having earned a reputation as an active speaker for conservatism for years?

The Reagan who formally registered Republican in 1962 and spoke at the Goldwater convention in 1964?

Reagan was famous for his conservatism before the Vietnam War, and the Great Society, Roe V Wade, the abortion wars, Jimmy Carter, decades of Cold War defeats, and the radical 1960s, before the Reagan Revolution and the Contract with America, and Clinton, and the Gore election of 2000, Mitt Romney would not even register Republican during the Reagan Presidency or vote for him. Romney, at almost age 60, had a stroke (or something) and suddenly, unexplainedly, became a totally different person around 2006, merely to run for national office.

Reagan and Romney have nothing in common.

' I don't know if those data are related to Utah being "mormon" country. '

REALLY?? Well, then mathematically, you assume that since mormons comprise 75% of the state population, that the Gentile 25% must be committing more than four times as many murders, rapes, and child abuse as residents in any other state.

Riiight./s

Oh, P. S. ...I forgot the cherry on the cake. Utah is #1 for consumption of internet porn. (Now if you want to blame THAT on the non-mormons too, there must be a lot of people in Utah who've made chicken choking into a career) ;^)

What I meant is that before being mormons, they are people and some people do the strangest things ...
