Romney has enough money that he could use it to burn a wet mule. He can spend tons of money for a long time.
He may have (reported $250Mill), but in 2008 his dear wife made him drop out to quit wasting the family money. If Newt actually takes a few more States and remains a pest in every state, Mutt could be back in the same spot as 2008. If he spends $5 mill in each State Primary, we’re talking most of his fortune plus whatever he can get, JUST to make it through to the Convention.
Romney is a practical businessman, he has some “dropdead” cutoff point in his head. Am bettin that’s what Newt’s gameplan is to just wear Mutt down. Of course if Newt doesn’t really catch fire, Romney could get by much cheaper.
