Sorry to hear that. I've been pretty lucky. I spend about 5 hrs a day online,and every now and then i'll click on a site while looking for something,and Avast will catch the virus each time.I set it to automatically update,and,yes,I pair it with Firefox.I also stepped up from XP to Windows 7 (not by choice;my old Dell Dimension finally crapped out on me after 9 years of faithful service LOL). I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop now and i'm pretty happy with it.Good luck with your computer issues!
