Hmmm, I wonder if some of these sounds and phenomena have an RF (radio frequency) component to them? I’m an amateur radio operator, I’ve heard weird stuff over the radio bands from time to time and some sounds remind me of that. IIRC, there have been many mysterious sounds throughout the ages, a couple that come to mind are the Bristol (UK) Hum and the Taos (New Mexico) Hum.
