She is out of her mind, she accused Newt of changing what he says based on who is listening, hello Romeny, also, She said Romeny is the MOST conservative in this race.
Hope someone can post the link
she has been up in the beltway for too long and lost what us normal folk think .
Her money and her elitist cocktail parties has made her into another waste of space
Glad you could join the conversation, Ann. Liar.
“Now she’s all in with the GOP establishment against the tea party.”
You have dealt with her personally. Is she changed, or just showing what she always was?
I can’t really get that mad at her for supporting Romney, but it is the extremes she goes to do so. There is no good reason for here to talk trash about Newt....we know he is flawed. I for one accept that fact and have decided he is still the best overall pick. IF these were more peaceful times I, a primarily a social conservative, would be supporting Santorum....because he is right on social/morale issues and he is really right about the danger of Islamists. I admire his courage to speak out on that when it isn’t politically correct. Whatever, in the times we are in, I feel that Newt is best suited to lead the GOP charge against Obama, and to be the best president. I do wish he would pick Santorum as his VEEP.
Romney is too “moderate” (a polite way of saying “liberal light”). Also, I must be honest that his Mormonism makes him unpalatible to me. I will say, I have no doubt he is a decent and honorable man....I just don’t think he is the best choice for POTUS. I cannot understand Ms. Coulter’s adoration of the man. To support him...I understand....but adoration is scary.
BTW - Although I can’t get mad, per se, for Coulter chosing Romney (she is wrong of course). However, she was COMPLETELY out of line in likening South Carolina voters for Newt as a “Mob.” That is just going too far.
She should publically apologize for that.
Very unusual. She’s a pro-life, pro-gun, pro-Reagan Christian small government, strong defense conservative all the way. Mitt has a record of being anti-Reagan, anti-life, anti-gun, anti-small government (RomneyCare), though he lies about that today while seeking the presidency as a Republican.
Whew, We have a porcupine living under out outhouse, keeps it pretty clean and all but I do believe ole prickly makes more sense than Ann made. At least he knows when he is full of it.
Who supports tax payer funded abortions for underage girls against the her parent wishes and without their consent.
Real damn honorable.
Just heard the 11:00 pm replay on O-Really.
She had apoplexy talking about Newt.
She talked a mile a minute and sounded irrational and shrill. A real harpy.
In the old John Wayne movies, she was like the hysterical woman who has to be smacked to calm her down before the big Indian attack.
She asid Romney was the most conservative and Newt the most of liberal of the candidates we have left.
She also said that Newt just plays to the audience—tells them whatever they want to hear.
THAT sounds like Romney to me.
Ann is outed. A RINO posing as a conservative.
She needs an intervention.
I thought O’Reilly was dead.
I don’t even like seeing Anns name on the front page here anymore! Blechy!
Assuming Newt gets the nomination, it will be just fascinating to see which of today’s crop of Newt bashers fall in line and suck up, hoping for some relevance in a Gingrich Administration, and which would rather sabotage Newt as they did Sarah Palin, even if it means Obama wins again.
I’d drop Newt in a heartbeat if Sarah got into the race.
I’d drop Newt and Ann if Sarah entered the race.
I dropped Ann a couple of years ago after I read one of her books. The material was decent, but she rambled, she repeated, she hyperventilated, she threw out a number of juicy quotes sure to give book reviewers hysterics — but which she knew Conservatives would love...
And she laughed all the way to the bank.
And it irritated me immensely because the material was good — in fact it was absolutely stunning. But the majority of the country is not going to read it and those who will are already the type who wouldn’t be surprised.
Oh well. I imagine she’s going to sell a lot fewer books in the future.
Newt is driving the establishment GOP insane. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Us plebes were supposed to roll over, take orders and vote for Mitt. Its just not fair and they are fighting mad. Its just not fair.
Somehow I just can’t find it in my heart to commend a slimy, lying, flip-flopping, baby murdering, gay agenda loving, socialist. Praising Romney for creating jobs is like praising Obama for killing Bin Laden. Pfffft.
See my tagline.
They really don't directly participate in party operations.
The "country clubbers" pretty much provide organizational structure. The "young republicans" claim they do the boots on the ground stuff.
Then there are the Party Professionals who make it their occupation to run campaigns and groom candidates.
Those folks AND the candidates probably make up the greater body of the people you think to be the "establishment". There aren't all that many of them BTW.
Some analysts have begun referring to them as "the media establishment" to differentiate them from Real Republicans.
Not to read them out of the party but the "media establishment" does not share many of the values of the social, fiscal, defense and other types of Conservatives who make up the broad base of the Republican voters.
Well, guess I just did read them out of the party!
This sort of thing is done frequently in rhetorical declamation.
His strong point is JOBS but his weak point (within the JOBS framework) is FIRING. The big issue in this election ~ which is kind of invisible at the moment ~ is the existence of an intractable mass of 26 million unemployed people. Obama has no idea what to do. Only Republicans know how we are going to deal with it. We can't help them unless they vote against the Democrats and for the Republicans.
Our best candidate is not Romney ~ besides not actually being that good a guy to put out there on the JOBS question, he's also someone who sold his moral principles on the issues of baby killing, elder death, gaydom and so on, which you correctly pointed out, but those simply weren't the issues I was addressing at the moment.
Whachyoumean he's not a Conservative?
