I was born and grew up outside of Boston and haven’t lived there since I married 43 years ago, yet people still say to me, “You’re from the East Coast, aren’t you.” I laugh and say that you can take the Girl out of Boston, but you can’t take Boston out of the Girl.
However, I do have an “idear” of some of the words that give me away. LOL
I also know how to pronounce Woburn and Haverhill.
OOPS! Make that 48 years married.
Obama’s foreign friend, Pawky Stan.
The self described independents comprise 2 groups.
Self loathing liberals. Mitt has a shot with them..but no much due to melanin.
Real independents, who don’t have the wherewithal to decide what their first principles are. They’ll go with the guy that doesn’t look like a moron. (or the least moronic...still Newt in a walk, carrying baggage)
They gave one a chance already, Newt wins them in a GE.
I was just teasing - none of the teams I follow won so the game will just be a normal game to me, but congrats to you all - it is much more fun when a team you like is playing!
Ha! Me too.
I find it accelerates my reading even with the distractions.
And WWF is now a good thing again, since The World Wildlife Foundation screwed the WWF.
Yeah, yeah, yeah ... but V’jinya dint “take”
Be sure to eat at Orlando’s (any location in town) - great food - one of our favorite places when we are out there! One Guy From Italy pizza is good too!
Worcester?
The 'dot' in Dorchester?
I've come to really appreciate what's left of my "King's English"

The Giants are one team I have no ill feelings for. It was good to see the Ravens lose in such a fashion, though my support for the Patriots ended then.
Didn’t want to see SF get near a 6th Super Bowl trophy either.
Springlike, 68 and sunny here, but rain predicted for tonight and tomorrow (hopefully). I’d better go to the woods and drag out some deadfalls in case it gets chilly-
Being pawky-imitating Al Green
Obama was trying to be cute
In this climate, he’d be wiser
To sit down and stay mute
With all of his sage advisors
That he’s thrown under the bus
When he tries to be funny
He’s probably making fun of us
But the unwashed whining masses
Like some adoring Roman mob
As long as they are pandered to
Will try to save his job
OMG Dave, you must be jealous of SF to hate them so much! I always figured you for the jealous type. ;^)
A+++ Excellent. We have temps in the 40s today, and rainy.
You are lucky you didn’t get an embolism. And I though I liked to read.
A+++ That’s all folks!
You brought chocolate! A+++
