Paulbots are flooding Drudge Report poll over tonights debate winner.
“BTW: Newt is for a 15% flat tax and reducing spending to meet this revenue.”
this week. What will he be for next week?
Too bad he wasn't for that when he was House Speaker and actually could have done something about it.
A) He was instrumental in winning the speakership from the Dems for the first time in a long time. B) He did do much about taxes when he was speaker. C) Paul? I hear he was a congressman.
Avoid the nuts and support Perry if that's a big issue for you.
Whatever you like about Paul's positions, there's still a huge problem with others. And they are all wrapped up in flakey package.
He'd be a lousy banner-carrier for any set of ideas.
Oh yeah, vulture capitalism. It’s not even a good metaphor.
I'm sorry, I don't understand your point here?
What is nuts is supporting a hypocrite, draft dodging who never served in the military, serial wife cheater who believes in man made global warming Newt?
The pig face that wants us grow bigger federal government and be the policeman of the world? This is the same hypocrite that was lecturing Clinton about Lewenski while cheating on his own wife at the very same time. He is right up their with Jessie Jackson. Thats your candidate??? You trust that??? I remember old Newt saying it was about character and how can you trust a man that cheats on his wife LOL!
May I ask if you were around and political active in the early 80s?
May I ask you the same question?
Rick Perry, his Vulture Capitalism accusation. There’s a real conservative concept.

Ah, got it, thanks.
Perry has been a real disappointment. I could support Santorum if he had caught fire, but it could be too late for him now.
I think the notMitt candidates should withdraw and support the one who does best in So Carolina. Otherwise we get Mitt. Maybe even then.
IMHO, we should rally behind whoever does best in So Carolina, Mitt and Paul excluded.
Certainly, the answer is yes, very much so.
“IMHO, we should rally behind whoever does best in So Carolina, Mitt and Paul excluded.”
I’ve added Perry and Gingrich to that list.
LOL! Seems you’re Solo Santorum in this one.
OK, friend, we disagree.
still, all the best to you and thank you for your replies.
“LOL! Seems youre Solo Santorum in this one.”
By process of elimination. I think I may be giving him the benefit of the doubt because I’m a Pennsylvanian.
Same here. Seems to be the modus operandi this election.
I do have a problem with his tax break for manufacturing. Pennsylvania has tax breaks for manufacturing, and, as a result, has denuded the state forests to provide paper for the regulations defining manufacturing, and in fact, there are three different sets of definitions - one for capital stock tax, one for sales tax, and one for local gross receipts tax. We had better plant a lot more trees if we are going to let the IRS give us yet another definition.
But, I can’t support any of the others, and I can barely support Santorum. What a pathetic bunch.
