"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Nice! I have a bunch of OTR sows on mp3, but I like hearing “new” ones.

Hi, Vision! Congratulations to the Ravens! We were pretty bummed yesterday with the Saints and Denver. Oh, well.
We have a good lineup—and a Whistler!

Hi Gina. Yea sorry about your loss. Baltimore is on fire but after watching what the Patriots did to Denver I'm thinking everyone’s joy may be short lived. I thought -all things considered- Tebow had an ok game but didn't/wasn't allowed to throw enough.
Yes Whister! And escape is pretty good too.
The bbqing is in full force. A brisket yesterday, some cheap steaks for lunch, and just put a chicken on a new rotisserie.

Re: your barbeque...
I wish we were your neighbors. :-)
We got a really nice gas grill given to us—a grill this fellow just didn’t want, because one of the burners was broken, a $15 fix. Last night, Keith cooked hot dogs on it. :-O HA!

Yes, we'd have some fun times if you lived here. And, I'd have more conservative friends!

Hello, Dr. Scarpetta.
I can’t imagine being surrounded by liberals! I believe I would “make a scene.” It’s hard to grasp that people can’t “see” what the communist Democrats are about.
With my political radio commentaries, I try my best to “pierce the darkness” of ignorance.

I know people that refuse to watch Fox News because they think it's right-wing. My aunt started watching O'Reilly, and her adult kids were upset.
