I think crows are that smart....The question you need to ask is are squirrels that stupid that they keep falling for the same old trick.......LOL!

my father brought home a baby crow we named Rosco.
When my cousin was growing up in California, he had a pet crow that would fly with him to school every morning then meet him after school and fly home with him (my cousin was walking)......The crow eventually found a girl friend and abandoned my cousin but every once in a while he would see it around his school

My cousin also said that crows have an attraction to shiny things and his crow was always bringing home pop tops and bottle caps. He also said his crow would occasionaly bring home a ring it had found or stolen.......

Did you see my post about the stolen iced tea spoons? Rosco had other things in his stash but I can't remember what they were but they were all shiny. He was a great pet, wish we could have kept him longer.
