Red alert for the wine country.
Based on my own observations, I’m more likely to believe the red wine theories than I am the climate nonsense.
I will ignore this!
I read the article with considerable interest, because I’ve been taking a bit of Resveratrol as a supplement that is supposed to be an excellent anti-oxident.
Certainly there have been numerous studies suggesting that red wine (and beer) are good for you in moderate amounts.
Another scientist named Barzilai, at the Albert Einstein Institute, says that this guy was just a minor player. “Barzilai told AP lots of labs around the world are conducting extensive research into resveratrol, with encouraging results, and the new allegation will not make a material difference.”
Good. I kind of like the idea of not continuing to spend money on useless supplements, but it looks like as if this one is still a good to be recommended.
Does thish mean that my $8/day inveshtment In Two Buck Chuck hash been “wasted”?

I’m glad. After all those years of trying to like the stuff, pretending to like the stuff, a few years ago, I finally admitted that I really don’t like wine. Now I don’t have to feel guilty about it.
Resveritrol has been the subject of considerable research, and has been shown to be one of the most important polyphenols.
Whoever this turkey is, he got lucky, and it has made the nutrition deniers angry.
