LOL
Peruvian prison? Hes gonna be takin it in der Chute.”
He’s been in a Peruvian prison, and from what I’ve read, he has it good. Has many friends and gals who write to him.
“Now he can run for political office in Massachusetts.’
Only if he can prove that he swam for help after the murder.
“Under Peruvian law, a prison sentence for a “sincere confession” to a murder is normally much shorter than one for an outright guilty plea. He could spend less than a decade behind bars.”

if the murdered girls father does have any pull, its not very strong...
frankly, the way they made it sound down there I though Slut would be dead by now....
Nancy Grace's famous words:.."BREAKING NEWS"...(about something reported 2 days earlier)
“frankly, the way they made it sound down there I though Slut would be dead by now....”
I thought so, too, but from what I’ve read beginning with his first days, weeks, months of prison, he’s had it good. Even the guards treat him well. Perhaps they were saving him for the trial? We’ll see.
I’d be very curious to know if they found any incriminating evidence on his computer regarding Natalee’s disappearance. If there was, I think we would have heard something by now.
I wish they did.
Now, castrate him with a butter knife, give him a 55 gallon drum of vaseline with sand in it, then throw him in that Chilean prison and toss the key in the ocean.
I have always suspected the he drugged Natalie and sold her to one of those sex traders in Venezuela. He gambled a lot and no doubt owed somebody a lot of money. A blonde, beautiful girl would bring big bucks. That’s why they could never find any trace of her. Maybe there was something on his computer that indicated who he sold her to and he was going to hit them up again for more money.
That is what will happen when he is sent to prison. He will not last long. Look at discussions of Peruvian Prisons.

In preparation for the trial, van der Sloot is being moved to the Challapalca prison, considered to be Perus worst prison and often referred to as Perus Siberia.
The prison is located next to a military base at an altitude exceeding 13,000 feet, resulting in freezing temperatures; hence the prisons nickname Perus Siberia.

I personally think he dumped her at sea and they never found her. If she had been sold into sex slavery, couldn’t they have ransomed her for a lot of money?
Not without exposing what Van der Sloot had done and the outrage here in the U.S. that would have followed and who knows what the U.S. government or the Venezuelan government would have done to the perpetrators. They would have been put out of business and faced severe penalties. I imagine their silence was part of the deal.
He has been in one of the better prisons in Peru. Since the trial began they just moved him to a Maximum security one that is NOT.
The murder victims father was friends with a past Peruvian President. He has been discussed for that level of office. He is not powerless.

Ping.
Twenty-four-year-old Joran Van der Sloot admitted to a court Wednesday that he killed college student Stephany Flores in 2010.
Van der Sloot told a panel of three judges that he was sorry and “felt very bad.” He earlier told police he got angry and strangled Flores in his Lima hotel room after he caught her looking up information about him on his laptop when the case of a missing U.S. woman came up.
Lawyers for Van der Sloot argued that he was suffering from “post-traumatic stress’’ caused by inquiries into his possible ties to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
Prosecutors are seeking a 30-year prison term for the slaying, but he likely will get less because of the plea.
Judges are expected to sentence Van der Sloot on Friday.
“I have always suspected the he drugged Natalie and sold her to one of those sex traders in Venezuela.”
Yes...a possibility. I hope they solve that case, but that creep Joran will never talk.
Either way, I hope he serves every day, and then the dead girl's father pays the twenty bucks or so that it costs to have someone killed as he's hours from walking out the gate.
I agree. I can’t imagine what the Holloway parents went through knowing this guy was alive, eating good food, dancing in nightclubs... while their daughter was dumped into the sea, or some hole somewhere. They weren’t even given the common decency of burying their daughter properly.
I read in an article that he was seen by a psychiatrist and was said to be a psychopath and they shouldn’t allow him out. ITA!
