I don’t know that they do (I don’t know what cadaver training usually is). But bones are great for retaining proteins and blood for a good while, and I wouldn’t doubt the corresponding smells. I’m sure this is ultimately why dogs will return to chew bones again and again.
I watch the real-life forensic programs. I can’t begin to imagine the stench of a dead body. How do the cops,coroners and M.E.’s stand it?
