Pretty much nobody likes Romney here, so I don’t know why you think you’d be banned for criticizing Mitt the chameleon.

I don’t get all the stuff about France and whatnot though. I don’t care about Romney’s religion, my reasons for not supporting him have nothing whatsoever to do with that. Also, Rush is not supporting Romney. Rush was just criticizing Newt for the occupywallstreet line of attack on Romney’s capitalist past. Rush was right too. Romney isn’t a conservative, but about the only good thing about him that I can think of is his time at Bain Capital. Restructuring companies, firing redundancy, creating efficiency, etc, are what free markets are all about and it is sad to hear some of our own candidates sounding like leftist Democrats on this issue.

I'm with you. Romney is in for a battle royal. Why? Ponder how this will play with voters in November: He's a corporate raider who likes "being able to fire people."

One word that describes a corporate raider is 'heartless' and people don't vote for a heartless President, so there had better be an endless number of examples to counter the heartless charge.

And, if that's not enough to turn off the average voter, there's always the story of 30something Romney putting their poor dog in its container and tying it to the roof of the family station wagon for the annual 12 hour summer road trip from Boston to Ontario.

According to the story, Seamus the dog apparently became terrified once the trip got started and responded with an uncontrollable bout of diarrhea that ran down the windows and sides of the vehicle.

Hey, nothing a good hosing down of the car and the dog wouldn't cure and back on the road they went. That's calm leadership under pressure.

And it sounds like something a corporate raider would do.

At least Seamus got hosed down, which is better than the former employees who just got hosed.

I don't care one way or the other about Mormons, but I hate heartless corporate raiders, obamacare and the callus treatment of animals.

The GOP had better hope that I'm the only one who feels like this, 'cause otherwise Romney can't win.

Actually, I think Coulter is a Presbyterian. I like Newt and Santorum. If Newt can spend some bucks in South Carolina attacking Romney, it might open up an opportunity for Santorum who lacks the money to take on Romney. This isn’t over.

Sorry I’m mad...I’m frustrated....I listen daily for the past three years... and each day...it’s something new from Obama etc... and we sit here and we take it...

We have a candidate in Newt who speaks from OUR hearts... and yet we are subverting him...

Today was the last straw when I listend to Rush....He dismissed Newt as being on the other side... like Schumer...

Then I realized, this guy doesn’t care... he’s an entertainer... he’s more concerned about his golf game... his next wife...

It’s clear that the OP did not listen to all of Rush today. Rush lit into Gingrich in some segments but defended him in some segments and exploded on Romney for starting all the negative attacks back in 08 and again in Iowa this year.

Rush also took a very pro Gingrich call from Charlotte, and the guy was pretty articulate and did a great job of explaining that Newt was the only one attacking Obama and them BAM - off went everybody at Newt.
