Where do they live?

California. From north to south.

yes, there’s widespread disenchantment with Obama. But whether black people vote against him this year depends entirely on who we run against him.

Oh, I'm not so optimistic that I expect a significant percentage of black voters to vote for the Republican in this election. We're a long, long way off from seeing any real movement toward the right in the black community.

I understand the mindset, and was once similarly indoctrinated. Escaping the liberal Democrat mind control plantation is a personal journey. No one can lead another to the realizations necessary to decide to make a break for it. A person first has to realize that they've been bought, and are corralled behind the razor wire. It takes a bit of curiosity and a lot of courage to even get that far.

Thank you for the input, but I must ask you something: why is it that Blacks, who are for the most part (theoretically) chrstian fundamentalists, are (at the very best) MIA on social/moral issues? Why is it that the vast majority of Black politicians (most of whom probably grew up in a fundamentalist church of some kind) are almost all quas-allied, if not out-and-out allied, with homosexuals, atheists, abortionists, eugenicists, etc.?

I simply do not understand this and it's driving me crazy.

my bet is he wasn’t a very good community organizer.

Just like I stated in post #15, "another POS in a suit", but he DID use his race to his benefit.

Here you go. January 2008. Black voters were just starting to warm up to Barry.

Here's your answer to that:

"Pollster Mickey Blum of Blum & Weprin, who conducted the Daily News poll, said New York's black voters became more motivated to join Obama after seeing his success with white Iowans.

"At one time, very few African-Americans in New York or anywhere believed it was possible for a black candidate to be nominated, much less elected," Blum said."

Blacks were plenty "warmed up" to Obama. Most just didn't believe it was possible for a black man to be a real contender for president. Once they saw that he could really beat the front runner in a state primary, they were all in for him.

Simple. They've sold out their ancestral values for big government goodies, and the liberal victicrat theory. They've succumbed to real evil, and have degraded themselves for the sickly sweet promises and lies of new slave masters.

What's really sad, is that it's now multi-generational. Even blacks who are in their 70s and 80s, who in their hearts know better, have fallen to the vile temptations of the left.

Despite being a religious Fundamentalist she regards George W. Bush as "the Devil" and defends Obama. Nevertheless she believed all the rumors about Herman Cain. And if she's ever even heard of abortion I wouldn't know about it.

What on earth is the matter with these people???

Because first & foremost, she is tied in lock, stock & barrel to a black liberation, leftist-socialist-marxist type of theology that is anything but Christian. I am a conservative born again Christian who attends a very conservative fundamental Baptist Church (not that a church denomination has anything to do with salvation), but I will guarantee that this lady would not attend my church in a million years. I doubt she is a genuine born again Christian, but is likely a member of a predominantly black church, based on black liberation, leftist-socialism, and is not Biblical Christianity in any way. 98% of Black churches across America have been co-opted & corrupted by this Satanic counterfeit gospel, which emphasizes victimization, tribal genocide of those who oppose you, hatred of "Whitey", socialist big gubmint spending programs, and a social gospel of works, rather than salvation by grace alone Eph 2:8-10, Titus 3:5.

This is why blacks (the same 98% who voted for 0dumb0) hated Hermann Cain, Star Parker, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, etc, because these individuals chose to leave the democRAT plantations and to think & act on their own initiatives & achievements.

Print a copy of this dissertation off and give it to this "very nice & wonderful" elderly black lady you mentioned, and you will see a supposed nice & wonderful person transformed into a frothing frenzy of vile hatred before your very own eyes.

I wouldn't know about that. She is in her 80's and lives in a small town in the Upper South. If she attends church (which, being disabled, she may not do) it is one of the small congregations nearby. None of them are big city type urban churches, but that doesn't change the fact that every election cycle the Democrat campaign signs are in every yard.

I wouldn't be surprised that she is in contact with some local left-of-center preacher. She has a computer printout of a photo of Rosa Parks in her home and I can't imagine where else she would have gotten it.

About a week ago I was in an argument with another FReeper who claimed Martin Luther King Jr. was an orthodox "born-again." I pointed out that from his own writings (readily available on the Internet) he was a typical liberal Protestant who rejected all the supernatural dogmas, accepted Biblical criticism, and thought religion's only use was as an inspiration for social change. I could have used your back-up.

That's hard to believe. People compartmentalize. Many of them have a traditional or orthodox theology and a long-standing attachment to the Democrats. It was like that with the grandparents of many of today's (White) evangelicals and it's like that with many Black Christians today. I really doubt there's much support for "genocide" in churches today, Black or White.

Having a hard time of letting go of race obsession?

Maybe that’s because so many are making big bucks by perpetuating a race-obsessed culture.

Booker T. Washington said the same thing almost 100 years ago. It's still true today.

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well."

But, how do you explain all Arab names in his father's family?

BHO, Sr. was anthracite-black. He had no Arab genes.

As for the Arabic names, they are due to Islamic influence. Islam is a religion and a culture, not a race. The Koran was written in Arabic, and Arabs are the original Muslims. But they are far from the only Muslims in the world.

Uh, Muslims, regardless of race/ethnicity often take Arabic-language names. See Muhammad Ali or Muhammed Jinnah, neither of whom were Arabs.

He had no Arab genes.

What makes you so sure. We do not "know" that BHO Sr. is in fact his biological father. His history is totally conjured. No paper trail anywhere. FACT

How do you explain the following:

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

It has been stated that he speaks perfect FARSI. Where did he learn that? باراک اوباما در تقلب است.

There is a common but unsubstantiated notion floating around the interwebs that Obama's father was 3/4 Arab by ancestry.

Obviously not by anyone who has ever seen an actual Arab. Obama's father is jet black. But, finding crazy on the internet is kind of like finding wet in the ocean.

Star Parker correctly points out that blacks who supported Obama solely because of the color of his skin, have been taken for a ride by the Marxist liberal's policies.

What about the "Whites that voted for Obama" were they not taken for a ride themselves? After all, the majority of welfare recipients, the poor, are White; and I think people assume that Obama got what they perceive as the downtrodden being a Black vote.

Obama was the first Democrat since Carter to win a Popular-Vote Majority. It was said he won a larger proportion of White votes than any previous non-incumbent Democratic presidential candidate since Carter; and also won 54 percent of all White Voters age 18 to 29 [ the ones supposedly looking for work], to McCain's 44 percent.

The % of Democrats who went to the polls increased 2.6 percentage points vs the % of Republicans went down 1.3 percentage points. What If Republicans had shown up to vote instead of sitting it out?

So to me both White and Black[or any other color that falls under the same demographics] were taken for a ride, never mind that some may have voted for his skin color as whites also voted for a black man for president to show how far we have come since the days of slavery. I mean we can all agree, it is a monumental event in history-- and was predicted by some that this would happen before a woman ever became president.

So : Obama's Base Is In a Dilemma

Speaking of genocide, I am not aware of any "demoRAT" black pastor speaking out against the desire of Palestinian terrorists or the muzlim world in general, to commit terrorist attacks against Israel and to eliminate & drive Israel into the sea. In fact they support the muzlim terrorists in their bombings & rocket attacks against Israel. As well, the black churches (98% of them) continaully emphasize victimization, hatred of "Whitey", socialist big gubmint spending programs, and a social gospel of works, rather than salvation by grace alone.

Up until the late 1950's, most blacks were part of the Republican Party since the DemoRAT party was the party of lynchings & segregation & brutality against blacks. My point is that I doubt that very many of the 98% of blacks across America who vote for 0dumb0 & the segregationist demoRAT party are truly born again Christians. Instead their religion is the religion of leftist-socialist-marxist ideology, hate Whitey, black liberation & a social gospel. This is a counterfeit Satanic gospel, and there is nothing Biblical about any of it or of the 98% of black churches who espouse this.
