I'm starting to notice everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE -- having serious software issues. A website I manage is malfunctioning without decent reason; my home computer is acting strange; when I reached out to various friends, they are telling me the various systems they work around are all crashing. Even Emory (hospital) has had a major MedRec crash.
I'm starting to wonder if something deeper is going on. China, NorKorea, all our opponents -- any of them are capable of developing a 'quiet virus' that goes unnoticed by major Antivirus vendors. I wonder if we have been assaulted.
Please post if you are, or are not, seeing major computer issues in your neck of the woods.
220 outlet eh?
Poor squirrel.

Wife’s POS Vista machine is slow, but my Windows 7 HP desktop is rock solid.

I stayed up too late last night and you had to go and make me LMAO!
Nothing right now, but hinky over the weekend. Thought maybe it was because my microwave frequency was loaded with game players. I did a reboot and full scan, didn’t find anything.
I do software support for a software company. Yesterday, we had multiple customers in different states reporting exactly the same erratic behavior with their systems. Turns out they were all infected with the same virus. Odd that so many customers who are unconnected to each other would have that happen.
Hmmm So the only know common factor in this situation is
You mean the 15,478 security updates I’ve so far received for Windows XP?
Can you please identify the name and behavior of this virus?
On a private forum I’m on, I’ve seen a step up in people getting nasty viruses. Like nuke it from orbit, scrub it down to bare metal reload viruses, technically proficient people unable to get the usual tools to remove whatever is going on.
It’s nothing drastic, but there has definitely seemed to be more activity lately.
Be careful out there. Practice safe surfing . . .
If its an internet problem someone should ping al gore. My phone is working fine but fr always vanishes at the top of the screen and I can’t see what I typed.
The computer ran off with the toaster so I can’t use that. Last thing I saw on the screen was something about the computer wanting to stick its floppy in a warm slot. Not sure what that was all about.
Interesting. Also more indication of a true problem.
I moved it to the right but there is no more desk left so I can't move right anymore.
My home computer had to be rebooted 2 days ago for the first time in 5 months.....but then again going 5 months is really good!
Since it’s very apparent that this place is a major, major source for Rush, he should quietly take care of it - each and every quarter.
