I'm starting to notice everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE -- having serious software issues. A website I manage is malfunctioning without decent reason; my home computer is acting strange; when I reached out to various friends, they are telling me the various systems they work around are all crashing. Even Emory (hospital) has had a major MedRec crash.
I'm starting to wonder if something deeper is going on. China, NorKorea, all our opponents -- any of them are capable of developing a 'quiet virus' that goes unnoticed by major Antivirus vendors. I wonder if we have been assaulted.
Please post if you are, or are not, seeing major computer issues in your neck of the woods.
Two days ago, I went to the cash machine at TD Bank. It took about minutes to recognise that I had inserted my card, each step took 2 - 3 minutes and the whole transaction wast at least 15 minutes. I have never seen a banking system so slow since ATM’s were first introduced. I was sure it was going to crash or they were under attack. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but something stinks and it's getting ripe. I'm in the New York Metro area.
I work in an analysis/support role for a very large storage platform and software company. I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary on a professional or a personal level. Systems hitting on all cylinders.
Ok. This is the first glimmer of confirmation. Maybe we are simply bleeding-edge at detecting this.
I have a couple of company developed programs randomly crashing or causing other problems with Microsoft Office problems. So, no, nothing unusual or out of the ordinary here. All is normal.
Not seeing anything here on my laptop, but I run multiple compatible firewalls.
However, my Blackberry has been VERY unstable lately.
I’m noticing the same thing, and it seems as though there is something weird going on with the DNS servers on the net.
I scanned both my home machines with Malwarebytes two days ago and they are squeaky clean.
But honestly EVERY machine I’ve ever dug into for a friend is infected.
Things in NE Ohio are all the same as past few months. I have Mac products so if it is some type of massive virus issue, I might be okay (for now)
I recall at the one debate that was what was the biggest concern of one of the candidates (duh, who was it?).. massive cyber terrorism
Wounds my heart with a monotonous languor.
LOL. Just kidding. So far so good here. Been expecting it any day though.
Hi. I am from the government and I am here to help.
Hey Laz,
Double check your beeber, it sounds like it got stuned.
Double secret stuning has been reported of late.
You’re traveling through another dimension.
A friend in “the business” had problems with firewalls yesterday. One rack was doing a dds from the inside. No words on anything weird happening today...yet.
If you’re having puter problems, you should just hit it.
I thought the problem was Vista, but my husband also has had deceleration and crash problems.
Sometimes I wish JimRob would “sell out” just a teeny bit and get some corporate or political sponsorship. That way he’d have more money for infrastructure, not to mention a better (or rather any?) monthly paycheck.
Or at least run some sidebar ads.
Could be done with proper terms to ensure independence. Of course, I understand that those are potentially dangerous waters...

Running several machines here, nothing abbynormal going on...
Wound my heart with a....something or other, langor, something..
