You made an error here:

4*4 - 5*4*x = 6x + 4
6x - 5*4*x = 4 - 4*4

You moved the 6x to the left without changing its sign. It should have been -6x.

Re arrange is fine - but you should get -

-6X-5*4*X = 4-4*4

-26X = -12

X= 6/13
