True, but it's still an improvement over the PT Cruiser and the Caliber.

One of the worst decisions Chrysler ever made was dumping the Neon in favor of the Caliber. The Neon was inexpensive, got great millage, and handled great so they sold a ton of them. They replaced it with the Caliber that was a pig that handled like a dump truck so they couldn't give them away.

BTW my Neon has over 180K and is still going strong.

The neon was dumped because they were awful vehicles to keep running. I work with 4 people who had neons and we all hate them now. I get furious just thinking about how much money I blew repairing mine.

I’m glad you had good luck with yours.
