The Natural World was once really mysterious. No one knew what was going on, they just watched in awe as the world did what the world did.

Then we discovered Science and began to understand some of what went on around us. For centuries, our knowledge grew and grew.

Then we allowed the government to run the schools.

Today, the Natural World is really mysterious. Journalists don't know what is going on, they just watch in awe as the world does what the world does.

If the ocean did lower its PH below 7 then it would be acidic and the calcium structures would dissolve to the point where it would again become neutral or alkaline.

What’s all that talk about “pH units”? The pH value, being a logarithm, is just a number; it neither is nor has a unit.
