I did run the entire title through the search function first. And looking at the keywords I just chose something different.

The search function works poorly with the entire title - too many variables are in play. Choose just one work from the title - over 3 letters in length - and search as a title.
Here is a search result of all threads with "beatings" in the title.
FWIW and IMHO, the trick to an efficient search is to pick one significant word from the title and then search by posting time. For example, using “Fred” from this article’s title: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/search?s=fred&ok=Search&q=quick&m=any&o=time
No need to apologize, just another a-hole appointing himself as a posting policeman. Most of us have a life and don't spend the day looking for duplicate posts. I missed this one and was glad you posted it.
