Third graders in in Gwinnett County, Ga., were given math homework Wednesday that asked questions about slavery and beatings.
Christopher Braxton told ABC News affiliate WSB-TV in Atlanta that he couldn't believe the assignment his 8-year-old son brought home from of Beaver Ridge Elementary school in Norcross.
"It kind of blew me away," Braxton said. "Do you see what I see? Do you really see what I see? He's not answering this question."
The question read, "Each tree had 56 oranges. If eight slaves pick them equally, then how much would each slave pick?"
Another math problem read, "If Frederick got two beatings per day, how many beatings did he get in one week?"

    6. Raoul got 6 years for murder. He also got $10,000 for the hit. If his common-law wife spends $100 per month, how much money will be left when he gets out?If Raoul's wife only spends a hunnert dollars a month he should get down and kiss da ground she walks on. Den go out and get anudder hit job. His kids is hungry by now.

You’d need something like a Burmese Python for prey *that* big.

    10. Why doesn’t Joe have enough sense to keep his magnum loaded? Then he could easily empty 6 rounds into Billy within 20 seconds.

Ayep. Boa’d be happy with a rat every 2-3 weeks.
[Don’t ask me how I know *that*.]

"10. Why doesnt Joe have enough sense to keep his magnum loaded? Then he could easily empty 6 rounds into Billy within 20 seconds." The trigger on that revolver must be pretty stiff. That's like one round every ... thinking, thinking, need to pull up Calc ... 8.63 seconds. Or thereabouts.
Math was never my best subjective.

That’s the ~trick~ part of the question.
They do not specify the size of the Boa.
If it’s 3000 grams or so, 3 small rats fed concurrently would be equivalent to one large rat and an appropriately sized meal.
[given the rule of thumb of prey body weight equals 15% of Boa body weight]
Nor do they specify the sex of the Boa or the time of year.
A female Boa 6000 grams+ could be bulking up for breeding season while a similarly sized male would *not* be eating because of breeding season.
If it’s not breeding season at all, then even at the rate of 3 small/1 large rat per week, they are feeding too often *unless* the snake is metabolizing the rats efficiently at that rate and eliminating weekly.
[and they don’t even mention which Boidae species...what if it’s one of the dwarf Boas?!?]
;D

And it’s a great, nasty, pointy-toothed point, at that.
