This week, in N.O. paper I saw Kal-El! That goes on the list with Tsunami and Teriyaki.
Of course, IMO, nothing beats Toi’let.

I was named the executor of an uncle's estate and had to pick up multiple certified copies of a death certificate in Dougherty County, Georgia. To do so, I had to sign a public register in which you stated the name of the person for whom you were requesting a birth or death record.

I wasn't surprised at the number of birth names containing an apostrophe. I wasn't even surprised at the number of birth names containing two apostrophes. The winning name on the request page that was visible had five. I wish I had written it down. Then again, I'm seeing more boys named McClintock and girls named MacCauley.
