Romney raised taxes on the blind.

He really did.

Do you understand how underhanded and pitiful that is.

Well...if it ain’t Newt, then it’s the liberal Democrat Romney.

Darned if I will vote for him.

"It goes back to his complaining of having to get off the back of the plane with Clinton and has reappeared in this campaign."

You might want to do a little more research on that story....sheesh

It’ll be interesting to see how Gingrich addresses his complaints against Romney and Paul tonight, if he elects to do that to any extent. Some think he’ll seek retribution in a big way, but direct confrontation in previous debates hasn’t worked too well for those who tried it.

Most voters don’t seem to like the heated and contentious exchanges.

Who do you support? Maybe you could post some positive things about your candidate, instead of tearing other people down... just a thought.

I really don't understand this latest fad I see some participating in, which is defending Mitt when Newt criticizes him.

And to bring up the the 16 year-old back-of-the-plane propaganda about Newt....

Unbelievable.

Really.

Yes I can see why the Thurston Howell wing of the Republican Party would be upset with Newt. You might muss yourself if you attack your opponents directly. It’s much better form to have the help do it for you.

Your complaint sounds like you have thinner skin than Newt.

Ironic, that.

However, his achilles heal has always been his ego, and the inability to handle rejection or negativity (a major part of politics) in a grown up fashion.

I'm afraid you're right. I would enthusiastically support Newt if I knew we were getting the mid 90s pre-Bimbo eruption Newt.

But he has a personality disorder much like Bill Clinton and they go hand-in-hand:

Don't let Rove's less-than-subtle digs at Gingrich persuade you.

The Romney-McCain images of this week are far more compelling indicators of what a Romney/Obama contest might be like.

Wait for the ass-whooping Newts going to slam Romney with tonight.

He’s been holding his cards for this moment and will play them at the debate.

It’s a do-or-die moment, and Newt hasn’t progressed this far to be turned away by Mittens.

Newt is an intelligent man and fights like a bulldog for the things he believes in, but global warming taxation and some of his shared with the marxist left views are unacceptable to conservatives who want small government. I think he would be a wonderful Secretary of State in the Santorum administration who should be let off the leash to attack and destroy the leftist communist run institutions of DC like the EPA, the NEA,the FDA, the Dept. of Education, and all the new big government thieving agencies Obamantion has created to destroy America.
God save America from the communist left. God help Rick Santorum, I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour of them that believe His Word, the Word of God.

Now his latest quip about taxing the blind, and scraping the bottom of the barrell is just more over the top whining.

Uhm, one mans whining is another mans truth telling.

Newt is telling the truth.

Perhaps he should just say that he likes Mitt, be nice and not possibly hurt his feelings?

Sorry Newt,
When they made you Speaker of the House during Billy’s term, you promised us your “Contract With America” and the Democrats were running scared. I really liked you then. Unfortunately, you caved when they started criticising and demonizing you. When you quit as Speaker, I was disappointed and saw that you didn’t have what it takes. You did not have grit. We need someone with a thicker skin than you, who can promote a Constitutional Conservative agenda and stand up to the criticism from the Donkey party and their henchmen, the media. You aren’t it.
Jack

Newt can act like a raving maniac if he can get us back on the right path. He has my vote.
My number one reason I can not vote for Romney is I think he would support Romney/Obama Care.
