We’ve had a nice mild winter here in Michigan so far. We’ve had some cold but nothing for an extended period of time. Supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow.

Was just two days of a cold blast for the southeast. Every county in Florida this morning had freezing at some point. Cold will vanish for a week. Next blast toward the end of next week. The sun has been cranking now at maximum for quite a few months, but my guess is the AGW proponents wont even acknowledge that fact. We will see some more cold blasts this winter, since the Eastern Pacific is cold, but the sun is still at maximum and will hopefully continue to remain there for as long as possible. Sunspots have been on a roller coaster lately though, with signs that they the maximum might be nearing a possible end, but hopefully that is just a short term trend.

Florida temperatures plummet

It was 23f at sunrise this morning, 10 miles west of St. Augustine. I expect mid 20s tonight.
