Just hope Jerry Jones keeps Jason Garrett and Romo as the head coach. Love when the cowboys have a losing season.

Rex Ryan was in the last two AFC championship games. That would be a silly as firing Andy Reid in Philly. Both are excellent coaches. Both teams would take a step backwards if they changed coaches.

Don’t fire Rex...just send Mark Sanchez back to USC for 5th year and sign a real QB. Sanchez makes Tebow look like Johnny Unitas.

I think the firings are going to be pretty epic this year. so many teams looked so bad, massive meltdowns, just plain glaringly bad coaching moves. I’m thinking by the time the smoke clears there’s going to be over a dozen openings, probably 3 or 4 GMs ousted too.

As a niners fan, I’ve got to give a big thank you to the Rams for firing Spags. With all their injuries, it’s amazing they won two games.

The Jets should keep Ryan. The team just needs a QB who is smarter than the kicking tee. If Ryan insists on keeping Sanchez, then he should be fired for lack of judgment.

As my late brother used to say, you can divide the coaches in the NFL into two groups; those who have been fired, and those who are going to be.

Nobody’s getting fired here. After forty years of futility Atlanta has had four winning seasons in a row and three playoff appearances. It would be nice to see more than one post season game, however ...

Some might think me crazy for putting this out there, but I'm thinking that if the New England Patriots do not win the Super Bowl this year, that Bob Kraft will fire Bill Belichick. It's true that the Patriots have gone to four Super Bowls (winning three of them) with Belichick but it has been several years since the Patriots have been to the Super Bowl.
In addition, the Patriots are coming off a disappointing 13-3 season and have one of the worst-rated defenses in the league. People are starting to whisper that maybe Belichick has lost his magic touch. Also, Tom Brady has been off his game lately. Might be time for the Pats to start looking for a new QB.
That all said, I'm hoping that the Jets keep brassy loud-mouth Rex Ryan. With the Pats dynasty on the decline, it will be nice to see the Jets have some more of those 8-8 seasons. That way, the Pats can still win the division even if they drop to 11-5 or 10-6 in future years.

In my opinion, except for Jim Harbaugh's totally amazing coaching job with the 49ers, the lack of off-season minicamps and OTA's hurt way too many teams--quite literally in several cases! Many football pundits at
Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and so on all said that the teams with experienced, stable rosters will do great--note that the Packers, Saints, Ravens and Steelers have all done okay because these teams didn't have significant roster changes.
But one team to watch for next year: the Eagles. This team showed flashes of brilliance this season, and with a full off-season of OTA's and minicamps to "polish up" the team, they could be a huge threat next season.
