Rasheem Morris and Steve Spagnuolo already fired.
Are Rex Ryan and Norv Turner next?
Best play he ever called.
But why did they have to let Cutler play pinata for 4 games before making those changes? It was obvious in the pre-season the weren’t up to slow to develop plays, but Martz wouldn’t change his ways. Stubborn guys that won’t adjust to the players they have aren’t geniuses, actually they’re the opposite of geniuses. Smart people do like John Fox did, change to a system the players they have can run. Martz didn’t adjust until it looked likely he’d get his QB killed, that’s how morons handle it.
I hope Belichick snags him.
Per WEEI-FM in Boston, both Norv and AJ are back in San Diego. Good!
That’s a surprise. Also surprised there’s been no word on Chan Gailey, with that 1-10 finish I figured he’d be out early Monday morning.
There is no one who would want the job.
Nobody wants the Raiders job but that never stopped Al from firing people. There’s people that live in Buffalo, they could hire 1 of them. Maybe one of the beer guys, already familiar with the stadium.
Agreed. I love it when the media annoints someone that fails..
So much for Norv going back to Dallas as OC.
That's great news.
The Chargers are perennial underacheivers. So much for great coaching.

Nooooo!!!!! Hubby’s going to be grumpy when he gets home. : (
Hey, you got your revenge for that ‘99 regular season game!
Probably would have helped if Fred Miller didn’t false start about 200 times! lol
I didn’t see it that way (as well as nearly every other person who I knew) and I not only watched all the games, I attended a few. I do recall from your other posts that you are not a fan of the Patriots...but perhaps you had the opportunity to watch more than a few of their games that year?
I do agree that he wasn’t worth a franchise tag, but the Patriots were backed into a corner on that, they really had no choice. They recognized that there would be a bidding war for his services, and they needed to lock him in in case Brady’s surgery didn’t turn out as expected.
As Pats fans, most of us were discouraged they had to use the franchise tag on him, but as is the case with war, one doesn’t get the fight the war of their own choosing with the tools of choice, but have to fight when you have to with what you have.
We all recognized it had to be done, because quarterbacks don’t grow on trees, as the poor Indianapolis Colts discovered this year.
Georgia fans wanted to fire Mark Richt after the first two losses. After watching their defense lie down with a seven point lead and 1:56 left in the game, I’d fire him for that.
Then not trying to at least get closer to a chip shot to win with a field goal in overtime? They had a third down. Kid missed an easy one.
AND, I had 68 points on GA in my bowl poll so I’m ticked! lol
dfwgator, you thought they would fire Richt, correct?
The first half game against LSU I'm sure the fans wanted to hoist him over their head.
I'm sure there is an effigy of Richt on one of the goal post in Georgia.
At least you got a win in your bowl poll. LOL.
GEAUX LSU.
We also picked the perfect time to dump Kevin Carter on the Titans!
I love Carter. He fell in love with Nashville also. He’s a really nice guy.
Didn’t the Titans take Miller for a bit?
Have you ever even watched an Eagles game? What would the step back be? Hiring a real defensive coordinator? Recognizing the need to run the ball? Getting linebackers over 5'6" who can occasionally tackle somebody? Procuring a safety who might be acceptable in the Turkish national football league? Not using all of your timeouts in the first and third quarters? Going 7-9 instead of 8-8? He was finished when Jim Johnson got sick. 2012 will be another year of national sports moron broadcasters telling us in Philly how great we have it and Andy saying " We have to put our players in a better position to win." He's telling you he sucks every week. Believe him. How about drafting Earl Thomas instead of freaking Brandon Graham? Utter crap.
I know Jeffrey loves him. Send him to Africa to run one of Jeffrey's charities. Oh wait, time might run out before some kids get food and don't starve. Jeez.
