The columns are the width of the widest part of the content--either the width tag, or the text within the column.

Is the phrase "Align left" wider than 175 pixels? That phrase is setting the width of the first column (on my 1920x1200 resolution monitor, Firefox window at near maximum size - Mac)

Hmm--Not sure. On my monitor, I see a wider column there, with the text left aligned properly. It takes less than half the column width.

My display is 1680x1050 on a Dell P2210, with Firefox maximized on this screen.
