I had been reading a book by a Hollywood agent/promoter who frankly said celebrities are commodities and the details of their private lives are what they sell. Even normal things such as weddings, adoptions, and divorces are done with one eye out for the cash register.
It's not all our fault for watching. The number of media outlets and the 24/7 news cycle means they are looking for celebrities to manufacture. These include political celebrities. Sarah Palin was treated more akin to Kim Kardassian than to George W. Bush because she fit the celebrity mold.
(That's probably why the media despised Bush 43; he wouldn't play their game and feed them raw meat, so they made up lies and slander which he couldn't answer - but he beat two ‘smarter’ politicians. This is also why the media loves Obama. He plays celebrity, the clueless but calculating idiot that he is.)

I did not say he was manly. But he’s got her.....
Reminds me of when my wife and I got married. She was worried about who would be offended if they weren't invited. I solved it telling her to invite nobody - which is exactly what we did. And nobody was offended. We just had a preacher and a photographer..
Yes, it appears her dad will maintain control (from what I’ve read).
