A defensive struggle it was not but an exciting game with nonstop scoring it was. A number of records fell in tonight's Alamo Bowl as Baylor came back strong after being down by 18 points. 2011 Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III led the Bears to their first bowl win since 1992.

It's always satisfying when a private Christian school (especially one from Texas and one with Ken Starr as President) beats a liberal, state-run institution from the left coast.

It WAS a fantastic game to watch! Both teams were able to score frequently within a minute or so of possession on numerous occasions. ...Washington probably lost because of their turnovers that allowed Baylor a couple of extra possessions. .....Man! Looks like both teams need to recruit some defensive players. ....Great game, and I’m glad the Big XII won again, like the Longhorns did. I’m really tired of the East and West Coast sports writers dissing the Big XII. I think Oklahoma plays Friday.

What a great story the Baylor Bears are!

For every long suffering fan, hoping there’s light at the end of the tunnel, Baylor gives inspiration!

Slogging through the wilderness of 3, 2, and 1 win seasons makes this phenomenal season just that much sweeter!

Congrats to Baylor and especially to those fans who supported the program when it was most needed!

Most college basketball games don’t have that many points.
