Yep, I wonder how it is we have gotten to this point. We have gotten to a point where everybody wants to do anything they want in public, and claim that it’s a constitutional right of some kind. And, that anyone who objects is a member of some bigoted hateful group.
In this case, why can’t nursing mothers find a quiet place to feed the baby, and not draw such attention to this subject? Why has someone decided that the constitutional rights of nursing mothers are violated?????

I breastfed my daughter, and I would never go out in public to do it. There are some things that need to remain private and this is one of them.

Target is run by leftists. Give them your money if you want.

My opinion is that anyone who publicly expresses disgust is hoping for a glimpse.
My wife breastfeeds often in public places and she is discreet about it. She tries to find a more private area but often times a place out of the way with blankets to cover up is about as private as it gets.
I am amazed at the people who proclaim family values and keeping families together and Moms at home, yet they act disgusted when a baby is eating. I am going to start to express disgust every time I see someone stuff 1500 calories in their face at a restaurant. Maybe I should demand that those people be fed a juiced version of a salad served at room temperature.

There’s always the exception.
Fact is, activist liberal democrats HATE Walmart (for political reasons) so they make it a point to go to Target and always avoid Walmart.
Do democrats go to Walmart? Of course. Republicans to Targets yes. But those republicans at Targets are shopping among activist type liberal school teachers, government workers, pro-union types who intentionally go to Targets because Target is indeed liberal friendly.
At Walmart it’s called a “Christmas” Tree. At Target it’s called a “Holiday” Tree.
At Walmart you’ll see books by Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity along with Christian books, the Holy Bible and books on individualism. At Targets they’re books by Oprah, Michelle Obama and other liberal incons.

My guess is she probably didn't appreciate the attention, facial expressions, or raised eyebrows in response to her actions. Notice though, it isn't about what she did to receive those reactions, but rather how they made HER feel.
It reminds me of when I was in a pizza place and the owner kicked two young twenty somethings out for necking at a table while waiting for their food. There's a time and place for everything, and some folks have no concept of common courtesy.

My opinion is that anyone who publicly expresses disgust is hoping for a glimpse. In Portland, Maine only a couple years ago these women did a topless protest. They announced it for days ahead of time to promote the upcoming topless protest and then the day came and they all walked down the main street of the city topless.
On the six o clock news one of the topless protesters complained in an interview that she was "dissappointed" that so many people just came to watch and see the girls topless and even more dissapointed that they were taking picutures.
There's video of this interview online. Proves your point.

Nursing a child is natural. Breastfeeding a child in public as part of an organized protest is exhibitionism. Correct. I have zero objection if a woman breastfeeds in public. There are plenty of ways to do it without flaunting it.
If the mother is not making an exhibition of it, the store should leave her the hell alone. Especially a store a store like Target which sells things for infants.

I used to breastfeed my babies in Target all the time - IN THE DRESSING ROOM. Where I had privacy, time alone with the baby, plenty of room and a place to sit down. I really don’t see the upside to nursing with one arm while pushing a cart with the other, unless you have a totally pointless point to make.

I know all about this Target thing, been hanging around here a very long time. Frankly, I don't spend enough to make a difference really. My Walmart is full of lines and lines of the entitled ones with their food stamps, I'm betting they are democrats.
My Target has employees from my neighborhood, kids from my son's high school. The barista at their starbucks is a child of a colleague.
I boycott many things and many places, but ya got to choose your battles wisely.
