Ok, so maybe you've heard this Elvis Christmas song before but I never had until just this morning and I thought I had heard them all. All I can say is....wow. What a song. He was something.

Only he could make a Christmas song like this sound so good.

I was impressed with the visuals and the knowledge of how those liveS ended up.

Such a beautiful family in a beautiful home and everything was, for a time, all right.

Was it glamor, fame, drugs, all of the above?

I thank God for a simple life and family ... we're content ... and Godly happy.

Merry Christmas

Elvis was somewhat of a neighbor, living on the other side of a golf course.
My father had him do an appearance at a Lion’s Club
event.
It was a high school football game to raise money for the blind.

Life in America now is so much different from those sweet days.
God, please save America.

He’ll always be the “King” IMO. Loved his gospel music too.

Yes, me too agree. But I can identify a bit with Elvis. I think he wrestled with God. I think he knew Christ. And I think in his darkest hours, he reached out to his Lord. I would not be surprised if he’s there when the roll is called up yonder.

I think he longed to know Christ and to be delivered from his demons (women and drugs). Thankfully, God doesn’t remember our sins if we confess. The Bible says David did was right and that was AFTER he had a guy knocked off, The Hittite.

If people only knew how Good and forgiving God is. They would stop their cherished habitual sins and fall on their knees in gratitude. I hope to meet Elvis, I would not be surprised if he’s there when the roll is called up yonder

Wow, what a great story. And it sounds like something Elvis would have done. He was probably a really cool guy in person. Thanks again.

I have a newspaper photo on my computer of my father selling
tickets to Elvis.
Of course, it was just a promo photo for the charity game.

For any Elvis freaks, I will be happy to send it.

Cool. I’m not an Elvis “freak” but I do appreciate his talent, voice, even his back up singers were great. They had soul too. Can you post the picture of your Dad with him here? I’d like to see it. Thanks......
